I love my clothes, I have a big wardrobe where I hang and fold my clothes. Every Monday I organize

In my city we have the four seasons in one day. Sometimes, the weather is cold and rainy in the
morning, it is sunny and hot in the afternoon, and it is warm and starry at night. In the winter it gets
dark after 6 p.m and it gets light after 6 a.m. In the summer, it gets dark after 7 p.m and it gets light
after 7 a.m. Whenever it is sunny I go for a walk in the morning and at night I go out with my friends,

I love to go to the beach with my cousins whenever it is sunny, every weekend in the summer we go,
we like to go to Palm beaches, because they are beautiful, and the life guard watches the sunbathers all

My mom has a big kitchen, she cleans it every day. It has a big cupboard with shelves where she
puts her glasses, plates, cups and saucers and the pans, fry pan, pressure cooker and teapot, she puts
under the sink. It has a big stove with a big oven where she often makes cake, the cutlery; knife, fork
and spoon, she keeps in the drawer, and she likes to keep the coffee maker, blender, mixer and toaster
on the cupboard near the fridge, our fridge is always full of food, it has four shelves. My mother does the
breakfast and lunch dishes, she likes to wash the dishes in the sink then she puts the dishes on the dish
rack to dry, she always wears apron, my father helps her with the dinner dishes, but he uses the
dishwasher. At night my mother likes to set the table, because we all have dinner together.

My name is Alice, I live with my parents and my brother in an apartment, I work as a secretary for a
store office downtown, I go to work by bus, I work from 8:30 to 16:30. When I arrive at work, I have to
open my e-mail to check; I answer and send messages, after I call and schedule meetings with the
providers, then I organize the papers stapling or using a paper clip. My room is big, I have a big desk; on

Last afternoon, I went to the snack bar with my two classmates after school when we arrived there, we sat on

27 AT THE PARK

I love parks, when it is sunny my family likes to go to parks, we usually ride our bikes to the parks, and
when we arrive there, we usually have a picnic on the grass watching the ducks in the lake and then my
father flies a kite with my brother and I go to the playground to play on the slide, seesaw and jungle gym
while my mother watches me. In the afternoon, my brother skateboards and I rollerblade, in the evening
we go home. Last week, we went to the amusement park, I rode the Ferris wheel and roller coaster and
my brother rode the merry-go-round with my father because he is afraid, we had a lot of fun there.

My name is Judy, I am twenty years old and I live with my parents and my two brothers; my brother
Tom is fifteen years old, my brother Lukas is seventeen years old, my mother is forty-five years old and I
don’t know how old my father is. My parents work all week long, my brothers study all day long, and I
work all day long too, like my parents.

When I was five years old I was living in São Paulo country with my family, my childhood was nice
there because it was a calm place but ten years ago my family moved to São Paulo town when my
mother was pregnant of Tom. I like my school but the town is very noisy. At age thirty I want to move to
