- Bucor/ bureau of corrections: DOJ
- BJMP/ Bureau of jail management and penology: Imprisonment below 3 years
- LGU/ Local Government Units: provincial and sub-provincial jails
- PNP/ Philippine National Police: Maintain detention facilities
 Non-Institutional Corrections
- PPA/ Parole and Probation Administration: Conducts of post-sentence investigation of
penitentiaries
- BPP/ Board of Pardons and Parole: Authorized by the law to grant a parole to qualified
prisoners
- DSWD/ Department of Social Welfare and Development: Responsibility with the restorative
part of the correction system; focuses mostly on women and child’s protection

can use outside and can contribute to the society after the release.

awaiting for final judgment
