EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Each Filipino family's breakfast is unique throughout the nation. Some


people start their days with a piece of pandesal and hot coffee, while others
only consume light meals like fruits and cereal. However, a substantial
breakfast is essential for people who expect a long day at work or in school
in order to refuel for the rest of the day. And for many years now, sinangag
(fried rice), beef, and eggs—collectively referred to as "silog" meals—have
been a popular combination on our palates.

The Spanish had a significant influence on the silog craze centuries


ago. The well-known Spanish starter known as Tapas—served at the time
with bits of meat and alcohol—introduced the tapa, sinangag, and itlog to the
Filipino tables. As time went on, Filipinos added tens to hundreds of different
variations, giving it a more distinctive and mouthwatering Filipino cuisine.

Now, silog has cemented itself as a beloved comfort breakfast dish


among Filipinos. A trifecta is frequently completed by a third element.
Examples include Embusilog, also called Embutidosilog, which combines
fried itlog (egg), sinangag (fried rice), and embutido (meat loaf). Other
examples include Tocilog, which combines fried tocino (cured meat),
sinangag (fried rice), and Longsilog, which combines fried longganisa
(Filipino sausage), sinangag (fried rice), and itlog (egg). Porksilog (Porkchop
+ Itlog + Sinangag); Hamsilog (Ham + Sinangag + Itlog); bangus or milkfish +
sinangag + itlog); tuyo or dried fish + sinangag + itlog; tisilog/tinasilog (tinapa
or smoked fish + sinangag + itlog); hotdog + sinangag + itlog; and many
others.

Because of the COVID-19 issue and the coronavirus sickness, many


individuals today lose their jobs. In order to provide them with employment,
whether it be online-based or not, our organization built a contemporary,
straightforward, and distinctive restaurant.

And to do that, Kuys Tapsihan started there own business to also help
those who lose their jobs during the pandemic. The primary objective of this
restaurant is to provide silog in a quick, secure, and welcoming setting, along

with delectable, reasonably priced, and freshly prepared fried foods that suit
Filipinos' tastes.

Kuy’s Tapsihan is a business that offers food to it’s customer. It offers


affordable meals that are ready to go. The meal is packed in a paper box
that can be brought anywhere you go, it is also an eco-friendly. It targets the
people of Taguig City especially the students who wants this kind of food that
is very affordable yet very delicious kind of a meal. The price ranges to Php
55.00. In that price they can get rice plus a dish that is surely will satisfy
them.

It has already 2 branches which is operating only within Taguig. The


food lover and also vloggers are loving the food of Kuy’s because of it’s tasty
yet affordable prices kinds of meals. Many of the Taguigeno are loving the
foods here and it also determines that it is one of the necessities of the
people of Taguig City, where they can buy food for their breakfast, lunch and
also dinner. They also accommodate dine in and take out. The ambiance is
cozy because it is an alfresco resto. It is walking distance from the get off the
jeep, where most of the students come and go. The owner secure the lease
for the place. The business has the initial capital of Php 1 000 000 to
expense all the needed things for the business to be fully operational.

Brief description of the company

“Tapsihan” primarily serves tapa, according to some sources tapsilog and


tapsihan are colloquial slang words. They are usually serving silog meals.
“Tapsilog” is an original dish of the Filipinos which became one of the
favorite since it was first created. “Tap” means tapa or beef, “Si” means
sinangag or fried rice and “Log” means itlog or egg. This kind of food is
popular for Filipinos due to its tenderness and tastiness with the combination
of fried rice and egg.

Kuys Tapsihan is a small eatery that has a concept offering high quality yet
affordable Filipino foods. It is one of the tapsihan that clicks during the
pandemic time, since there foods are affordable that you can eat a delicious
food. One of there best seller is the tapsilog and other silog meal, they are
also offering other foods aside from the silog meals like soups, pares, mami,
lugaw and etc. They build this business since pandemic because they
wanted to try a business that many people will like especially the

due to high density of people and students found in the area.

Kuy's Tapsihan is located at 453 Manuel L. Quezon St, Lower Bicutan


Taguig City. The restaurant is near from Lady of the Holy Rosary Parish &
Taguig People's Market to shop, visit, & to wander and also cars &
motorcyles Travelers can easily see the establishment and they can rest &
eat before going to their next stop destination. Kuy's Tapsihan is also located
on some competitors eatery establishment in lower bicutan taguig like Lomi
Tapsihan Pancit Batangas & Tony & Precy Gotohan & Tapsihan etc. but still
Kuy's Tapsihan is still the fastest raising & Popular famous eatery in that
area because of Kuy's Brand image, Family Friendly Chill atmosphere &
Better service that peoples of lower Taguig want's when they are looking for
restaurant establishment to eat. It can easily visit & sight the restaurant
because of its uniqueness. The positive aspect of the restaurant from
geographic area is. The restaurant location are quickly spotted due to their

Company Name and History

Kuy's Tapsihan is a tapsihan restaurant located in ML Quezon st, Lower


Bicutan Taguig City.It was originated from the word “Kuya”, the owner of the
restaurant decided to name it to Kuy's Tapsihan because it is a tribute & love
to his deceased brother and his love eating tapsi. Before they become a
restaurant, they became a merchandise seller who sells cooking tools,
equipment and also they are vegetables, meat & poultry supplier. Since they
are complete of ingredients supplies & tools and equipment to open a
restaurant they decided to enter the restaurant business in the year of the
pandemic on 2020 and start operating in the early January of 2021. They risk
their money to start this business and afraid of failing because of the high
priced of the products in the pandemic time & they also start in the bottom
but because of their resilient great business minds & knowing what peoples
wants they become one of the fastest raising well known local restaurant in
Lower Bicutan Taguig they are best known for their food tapsi's and lugaw
because of the unique taste & presenting the food.

Owner - An entrepreneur is the legitimate owner of a business. An individual


or gathering that claims the resources of a firm and benefits for them. The
owner is responsible for establishing budgets and sales forecasts and
making sure the company meets them. The owner may actually invoice
customers, collect overdue accounts, keep the accounting system up to date
and reconcile bank statements.

Cook - A Cook is a restaurant worker who is responsible for preparing food
items and menu items in accordance with company standards and guidelines

Assistant Cook - Assistant Cook ensures the kitchen is orderly and assists


Cooks to prepare and arrange food. Their duties include cleaning the kitchen
area, washing dishes and utensils and ensuring that the Cook has everything
required to run the kitchen efficiently.

Server - Servers are responsible for taking orders and serving food and
beverages to guests as they are also responsible for checking on customers
to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any
problems. Barista - is responsible for preparing and serving coffee and other
beverages to customers in a coffee house or cafe.

Assistant Barista - Are responsible to prepare fresh food and drinks in a


coffee shop setting whilst maintaining a high standard of service and
customer care with a friendly and polite attitude. Waiter - They ensure guests
have an excellent dining experience by providing stellar customer service.

They greet guests, take meal orders and ensure smooth communication
between the dining area and kitchen. 

Dishwasher - responsible to work to take on some janitorial and supportive


kitchen tasks, such as bussing tables, washing dishes and appliances,
emptying trash receptacles, scrubbing floors, restocking items, and
performing other tasks to ensure that the kitchen and dining areas are clean
and prepared for guests.

Busboy - responsible to help support other restaurant staff members by


cleaning, clearing and setting tables for guests, stocking supplies, and
attending to the needs of guests.

Products and Services

The aroma of fried rice, fried eggs, and coffee awakens our Filipino senses
and makes us think back to a simpler and more carefree time. Having said
that, the typical Filipino breakfast would undoubtedly urge Filipinos to get out
of bed and start the day.
When discussing breakfast, we didn't just mean the typical oats, waffles, and
bread that we see in movies. Pinoys enjoy eating breakfast since it is a filling
meal that typically includes fried rice and fried eggs.
As a result, Kuys Tapsihan offers a selection of silog items that are both
reasonably priced and sure to please Filipino consumers. The list is as

pandemic but now they are not doing it because most of the
customers are walk in.

Current Market Activities

The owners of Kuy's Tapsihan launched the Facebook profiles for its four
branches before opening them in order to attract clients and keep them
waiting for the opening of the stores. There branches Kuy's Tapsihan Lower
Branch Jan 07, 2021, Kuy's Kubo June 17, 2021, Kuy's Upper Bicutan Dec
14, 2021, Kuy's Garahe March 9, 2022. The owners use a variety of
marketing techniques now that the branches are open to keep the interest of
the clients.

Social Media Marketing- The owners post content on the Facebook page
and Instagram accounts of the business which help increase the visibility of
the business in the community and also to the different areas as well.
Entertainment Marketing- The owner is also posting some entertainment
that the customer might like just like having a singer to perform while the
customers are eating.
Relationship Marketing- Kuy's Tapsihan focuses on developing
relationships with customers to demonstrate and enhance client loyalty. With
this type of plan, everyone may contribute to the sales of the business
through their personal connections with other people, including customers,
owners, cooks, baristas, and staff. These connections may be those with
family, friends, and relatives.

Current Market Sales

There sales for a month P 600, 000 depending on the hours and the
amount of the customers. During the evening there’s a lot of customers that
go there because sometimes they are looking for a silog meals that well help
aid their cravings.

Marketing Objectives

The Kuys Tapsihan has been operating since 2021, and they are
knowledgeable in terms of building and handling their business. They
have a huge advantage in the place they chose; a lot of people are
eating in their tapsihan because they are wise in putting their store in
a place where they can accumulate a huge amount of customers.
They have students, employees, and simple people.
They typically don't have new products, but sometimes they do
promos. When they celebrate their anniversary, they give their
consumers free soft drinks. They are consistent with their products,
and that is the way to be known in their place for being consistent.
Aside from that, they are gaining free advertisement because their
consumers are telling other people that their products are very nice
and the taste is not changing; it is still delicious even now.
Because of the free advertisements that they have, their sales are
booming. The owner said that they are gaining P20,000 per 24 hours
of operation, which is approximately P720,000 per month, so their
earnings per hour are P1000.00. They are very successful because
they have another branch near Upper Bicutan.

As a part of the food industry or food service business. Kuy’s Tapsihan is


composed of tapsilogan meals. The business need to provide the target
market’s needs which are the meals according to the survey. The product
mix includes tapsilog, porksilog, chicksilog, tosilog, malingsilog, longsilog,
embosilog, hotsilog, bangsilog, lechelog, and cornsilog.

of the restaurant menu if they want to order foods from Kuy's Tapsihan
Restaurant and they can message the page of the restaurant if they want to
order foods from kuy's Tapsihan restaurant and their order food can be
deliver by restaurant delivery services offered by delivery programs apps like
Grab, Food Panda & messenger are their options to deliver their foods in
their home. Right now Kuy's Tapsihan are really maximizing on reaching all
possible customers thruu social media platforms like facebook, twitter &
Instagram since now we are in digital era where peoples now is very active in
social media and it is the best way to market & promote their products since
people now they are lazy to go in physical stores to order & buy since it can
be buy now in gadgets by visiting social media apps & sites. So kuy's
Tapsihan is promoting their food product menus in digital sites & social

and whoever they draw 10 people winner's will give a check worth 500 pesos
gifts from Kuy's Tapsihan.

Unli soup - Since Kuy's Tapsihan opened, they have been pushing unli soup
to all costumers.

Kuy's Tapsihan has no personal product that sell. They must prefer to sell
only those product that customers wants. Since they have coffees the
proponent maybe they will decide to sell personal product. Proponents have
come up with this to make a side menu for coffee. In introducing their new
product, kuys tapsihan also dedicated to address these new product by
pasting the menu in the wall so that if the customer wants to have side menu
to their coffee and also posting it in social media accounts. The promotion of
these new product will be posted in the Facebook Account and since the
owner is vlogging it is easy to catch new customer.

for Christmas, and 5,000 will go toward anniversary promotions.
