ENGINE INFLIGHT START

Condition: An engine inflight start is needed and all of the following are true:

 There was no engine fire

 No abnormal airframe vibrations can be felt

1 Do this checklist only after completion Engine Failure or Shutdown checklist.

2 Check the Inflight Start envelope. Start outside of the envelope is not assured.

Starter ON

7 When N1 is above 10%:

Engine condition lever (affected engine)………………………………………………………………………………..High idle

Monitor start parameters.

8 Choose one:

 Normal start occurs:

Go to step 9.
 Abnormal start occurs:

Engine condition lever (affected engine)……………CONFIRM…………………………….CUTOFF

Starter……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………OFF

Prop lever (affected engine)………………………CONFIRM……………………………………FEATHER

Fuel pump (affected engine)………………………………………………………………………………….OFF

Plan to land at the nearest suitable airport.

Go to One Engine Inoperative Landing checklist.
