    SUMMER VACATION HOMEWORK
    CLASS :-8
    SUB: ENGLISH
    SESSION 2023-2024

    Instructions:-

    *Complete the written work of the chapters taught till date .Also learn and revise.

    *Do your work in assignment papers & compile your work in a transparent file.

    1.Write two new words daily. Find out their meanings. Make a pocket dictionary.

    2. Read a book or novel of your choice and write its book review

    3.i)Write any 20 verbs & their past & past participle forms (V1,V2 & V3) and learn it.(Go-went-gone)

    ii) Write any 50 synonyms and antonyms separately and learn it.

    iii)Write any 20 idioms or proverbs along with meanings and learn it(eg.Charity begins at home-One
    should start doing good things from oneself).

    iv)Write any 20 contractions and their extended forms and learn it.(Isn’t- is not )

    4. Prepare learner's diary of all the chapters done so far.
