Dear Sam,

First I have to tell you I’m having a wonderful time in Tenerife. It’s a Spanish island.
The weather is great. The sun is always shining and the sky is so blue! It was the first time I’ve
traveled by plane! It was so fast and amazing!

I do a lot of things every day here. After breakfast, I usually go to the beach. The
sea is warm. After the beach, I have lunch and then I go to the hotel swimming pool. This
place is wonderful. I’m taking lots of photos to show you. I didn’t have time to buy many
souvenirs. I’m going to buy them next weekend.

I also play football with some Spanish boys in the afternoon. They are very nice
and friendly and they can speak English. We’re going to do some scuba diving tomorrow. I
can’t wait. It’s going to be fun…

I always have dinner at the hotel around 7 and after dinner we usually go for a
walk. My parents love this island so much that they want to stay for one more week. Isn’t
that great?
