THÌ HIỆN TẠI ĐƠN - PRESENT SIMPLE TENSE

1. Cấu trúc

- Khi chủ ngữ S là số nhiều

I/we/you/they/ danh từ số
nhiều): V-s/es
- Nguyên tắc thêm s/es
+ Các từ kết thúc bẳng s-ss-
sh-ch-z-x-o sẽ thêm es vào
Thể khẳng định S + V (s/es) + O
cuối từ: watches, does,
brushes,..
+ Các từ kết thúc bằng 1
phụ âm + y → chuyển y
thành i rồi thêm es: flies,
studies,..

Trợ động từ:

+ do → I/we/you/they/
Thể phủ định S + do not/does not + V + O danh từ số nhiều
+ does → He/she/it/ danh
từ số ít

Do/does + S + V + O? + Do not = don’t

Thể nghi vấn - Yes, S + do/does + Does not = doesn’t
- No, S + do not/does not

2. Cách dùng

Diễn tả một hành động, sự việc diễn ra • I watch TV everyday.

thường xuyên, lặp lại, hay một thói quen
• My teacher usually gives us homework.
• My father often gets up at 6 am.

Diễn tả một sự thật hiển nhiên, một chân • The Earth goes around the Sun.

3. Cách nhận biết
Khi trong câu xuất hiện trạng từ chỉ tần xuất → Hiện tại đơn

 Generally: _____________

Ngoài ra còn có các dấu hiệu nhận biết:
 Every day, every week, every month, every year, every morning…(mỗi ngày, mỗi
tuần, mỗi tháng, mỗi năm).
 Daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly (hàng ngày, hàng tuần, hàng tháng, hàng
quý, hàng năm
 Once/ twice/ three times/ four times….. a day/ week/ month/ year,……. (một lần/ hai
lần/ ba lần/ bốn lần ……..mỗi ngày/ tuần/ tháng/ năm)
Vị trí của các trạng từ tần suất: Trước V, sau To be/ Trợ động từ

1. Cấu trúc
- Với động từ tận dùng là 1 chữ “e”
→ bỏ “e” rồi thêm “ing”:
writing, typing, coming
- Với động từ có 1 âm tiết kết thúc
bằng 1 phụ âm, trước nó là 1 nguyên
âm → nhân đôi phụ âm, rồi thêm
Thể khẳng định S + is/am/are + V-ing “ing”:
stopping, getting, putting,..
- Với động từ tận cùng là “ie” →
chuyển “ie” thành “y” rồi thêm
“ing”:
lying, dying,..
• I + am
Thể phủ định S + is/am/are not + V-ing • He/she/it/ danh từ số ít + is
• They/we/ danh từ số nhiều + are
Is/am/are + S + V-ing?
is not = isn’t
Thể nghi vấn Yes, S + is/am/are
are not = aren’t
No, S + is/am/are not

2. Cách dùng
Diễn tả một hành động đang xảy ra tại • I am studing English now.

Diễn tả một sự việc nói chung đang diễn • He is finding a job these days.

Diễn tả hành động sắp xảy ra trong tương • Summer is coming

Diễn tả sự phàn nàn, khó chịu của người Thường dùng với trạng từ: always,

3. Dấu hiệu nhận biết
Trạng từ chỉ thời gian:
