V. Course Description: This course deals with the process and development of selecting curriculum elements from the subject, the current social
life, and the students’ experience, then designing the selected curriculum elements appropriately so that they can form the curriculum structure
and type.

A. Mandate
To provide advanced education, higher technological, professional instruction and training in fisheries technology, arts and sciences, education,
industrial technology, engineering, aquaculture, seaweed farming and other related fields of study and as may relevant to national development. It
shall also undertake research, extension services and production activities in support of the development of the Province of Iloilo and provide
progressive leadership in its areas of specialization.

ISCOF as a premiere academic institution in Southeast Asia.

C. Mission
To upgrade quality education, generate jobs, and alleviate poverty through excellent academic programs.

E. Quality Policy Statement


The Iloilo State College of Fisheries is committed to provide advanced education, higher technological, professional instruction and trainings
relevant to Regional and National development by satisfying the applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. It shall undertake research, extension
and production services in support of the development of the Province of Iloilo and of the country in general and provide progressive leadership in all
areas of specialization.
The management shall ensure continuous improvement and customer satisfaction through compliance and maintenance of its quality management
system.

F. Goals of the College of Education


To develop competent graduates who are imbued with positive values and rich ideals of Filipino life and culture that are responsive to a sound
educational technology that could help hasten the social, economic and ecological development of the nation especially Western Visayas.

1. Produce quality graduates who will contribute to the advancement of their chosen field;
2. Conduct viable researches, develop and disseminate technologies and provide technical assistance to the community for an increased
production;

Master’s programs are aligned with level 7 of the Philippine Qualifications Framework (PQF). PQF Level 7 descriptors demand the following from

C. Lifelong learning with a highly substantial degree of independence that involves individual work or teams of experts in educational
management;
D. Application of the above-mentioned educational management skills in research, professional, or creative work.
E. Demonstration of the capability to lead, conduct and publish research in educational management.
