Methods and procedures of the Study

I. Research Design

The phenomenology research design will be utilized in the study since it aims to explore the
characteristics of the respondents from Baggao involved in cyberbullying.

The phenomenology research design will be used since the study will describe data
characteristics about the Students that will be studied.

II. Respondents of the Study

The study will involve the 100 residents of the Municipality of Baggao.

III. Data Gathering Tool

The respondent’s profile in terms of Age, Sex, Occupation and Educational Status. In this regard,
data will be collected by researchers from Saint Joseph’s College of Baggao Incorporated in order to
explore the characteristics of the respondents involved in cyberbullying.

IV. Data Gathering Procedure

The researcher will ask permission to the Dean of Criminology to allow them to conduct the
research and the permission of the Baranggay Captain of the chosen respodnetns.

After receiving the permission through channels, the research will visit the respondents and will
distribute the questionnaires in order to collect the necessary data in terms of age, sex, occupation and
educational status. The questionnaire will promptly retrieve by the researcher.

The researcher then gathered the survey papers that the respondents filled out for further study.
The survey papers were aimed at determiningthe characteristics of the respondents involved in
cyberbullying.

Finally, the data will be collated so that it could be analyze and interpreted.

V. Statistical tool

Descriptive statistics will be used in this study. Frequencies and percentages will be used in
knowing if the respondents are aware of cyberbullying. Challenges and suggestions to improve the
perspectives of the respondents will also be enumerated. Graphs will be presented as needed.
