1. In this position I held many titles for my boss. She owned a storage unit facility and a reality office
which I ran for her as the full office manager maintaining all the basic office staff duties, I also managed
Kathy's personal affairs as far as her reviewing her schedule+ making appointments + any personal
errands or tasks she might have requested, and lastly I managed all her rental properties.
2. In this position my regular duties were
• Open the office, turn off security alarms, check bank balances
• Maintaining a professional appearance and customer service attitude
• Knowledge of how the system was used as well as the process of renting a storage unit, having the
customer sign a contract, and accepting payment
• Understanding computers and Microsoft programs
• Answering the phone efficiently as well as returning all calls back within 1 day
• Handling issues with customers quickly and empathetically
• Creating rental leases for new tenants
• collecting all rent for storage units + rentals + follow up with uncollected rent by 5th of each month
• Maintaining records of rent collected and rental properties information
• Listing any properties we were selling
• Making bank deposits
• Managing the properties maintenance needs
• Managing the properties records and financials through QuickBooks: including monthly reconciliations
of all accounts
• Keeping a running log book between me and boss for better communication
• Run any errands or pay any bills that need done that work day
• Completing todo list received by boss each work day
• Making sure all doors are locked, and alarm is on before leaving for the day
• Answering any calls that are forwarded to me from the storage unit when out of office
• Maintain excellent communication with boss
• Offering business ideas and recommendations to boss
