The chart illustrates the average income in US dollars in 5 countries at various stage until reaching the maximum

wage.
In general, the labor work in 5 different countries take at least 8 years to receive the maximum salary. While the
average income as well as the maximum income of people in Luxembourg are always the highest, those in Australia
occupy the lowest position over the period shown.
It is obvious that Australian and Danish’s average earnings require less time to reach the maximum income, 9 years for
Australian and 8 years for Danish . At the starting stage, average wage of people in Australia is $28,000, while Danish’s
average income is $45,000. After 15 years, the salaries of Australian and Danish have an increase to $48,000 and $54,000
respectively which remains constant in comparison to the maximum.
On the other hand, the average wage of people in Luxembourg, Japan and Korea takes more than 30 years to reach the
maximum. The employee in Luxembourg are paid the highest salary with $80,000 at the starting stage and after 30 years
their income reach the maximum at $132,000. While Japanese and Korean have lower starting wages, $34,000 for the
former and $30,000 for the latter. 34 years later, Korean’s income will increase by $32,000 and Japanese take an
additional 3 years to have the maximum salary, with $86,000.
