THIRD QUARTER ACTIVITY SHEET (MODULE 1)

PRACTICAL RESEARCH 1

Introduction: Practical Research is one of the subjects in senior high school which aims to develop your critical thinking
and problem solving skills. You probably know that at the end of this course, you will submit your research output during
the culminating activity. Don’t worry about your research assignment. You will learn everything about conducting
research step by step.

Activity 1 – MY DATA

Directions: Write a 5 sentence essay sharing general information about you that includes, your name, age, hobbies, and
anything interesting about yourself. On the second paragraph, lay-down your expectations and the things that you want
to learn about research. Write your answer on a separate sheet of paper. Strictly follow the guidelines in answering
the module written at the back of this activity sheet.

Rubrics: Content – 10 points, Coherence – 5 points, Neatness – 5 points.

Activity 2 – FACT CHECK

Directions: Read the sentences. Put a check (√ ) on the space before the number if you think that the sentence
is true about research. Put a cross (X) if you think that it is not. Write your answer on your paper. Strictly follow
the guidelines in answering the module written at the back of this activity sheet.
