Laura Basuki, who won a Citra Award
for her role in the 2010 film Tiga Hati,
Dua Dunia, Satu Cinta, was the centre
of attention when South Korea's
Wonjin Beauty Medical Group
celebrated the second anniversary of
Wonjin Clinic in Menteng with a party
at Residence OnFive at Grand Hyatt
Jakarta on Thursday, February 6th.
Laura is the new brand ambassador
for Wonjin, which works to add
confidence and pride to your facial
features and determine the overall
look of your face. In South Korea,
Wonjin is made up of eight different
departments and employs more than
40 specialised medical experts. The
mission is not just to change physical
appearance, but also to enhance inner
beauty through consultations and
top-rated treatments. During the
event, the clinic introduced Accent
Prime, Tune Face and Tune Body, aimed
at perfecting the face and body
contouring using radio frequency and
ultra sound methods.

Indonesia, I'm responsible for the
company's image. Wonjin Beauty
Medical Group Korea always works
with big names such as G-Dragon, Park
Min Young, Kim Bum, Lee Min Ho. And I
come up with an idea where I think
Wonjin Indonesia also needs an
exposure in aesthetic industry in SE
Asia, especially Indonesia through
Brand Ambassador campaign. That's the
moment where Laura Basuki's name
popped up in my mind. Her clear
background, good reputation is what
makes me believe that she'll lift up
Wonjin Indonesia's name. Not to
mention that she also Brand
Ambassador of Chanel and Tiffany &
Co. for Indonesia region, I took the
brand to collaborate with us, which
they will support Laura Basuki in
terms of wardrobe and jewellry for
every Wonjin Indonesia's event when it
involved Laura Basuki. And I also work
with Prestige Magazine to become our
official partner to support this
campaign.

going to release soon in Tiffany & Co.

strengthening strategy - my
responsibilities as a Retail Manager is
that I have to partner with the sales
proffesionals to meet their individual
action plans to increase contact with
the customer and sales opportunities.

By having our principal at the store


explaining about the collection and
starring Marsha Timothy and Laura
Basuki, we got such a very positive
feedback. Not to mention that high
jewellery is one of challenging
category in jewellery industry.

Stores is quite challenging for me.
Especially when there’s a new
collection that the company wants to
introduce to the high potential
customer. I have to make sure that we
have complete merchandise at the
store and for the photoshoot at the
same time. Along with Baccarat
Indonesia magazine, we’re
collaborating to introduce Tiffany &
Co. Latest collection’s, Paper Flowers.
Directed by Deli Makmur from Fame 74,
the photoshoot went very fun and
quick.

BIG CHALLENGE

DIRECT FROM THE BRAND DIRECTOR

Each one of us Fashion Advisor got challenge from


the Brand Director - how to push the sales to our
target AND how we build this brand awarness in
Indonesia, since Paul & Shark just opened their
first flagship store in Jakarta a month before this
event held.

STRONG DATABASE

Since the others Fashion Advisor has their very


own ideas, I came up with private view event. By
asking a friend of mine - Noi Aswari along with
her beloved fiance, Feisal Hamka to be the hosts
for the event. I believe with their crème de la
crème networking, not only they can push the
sales at the event by mingle with our other
guest, but they can create such a good branding
for this brand in Indonesia. Paul & Shark is a
such a challenging brand to me, because sailing
is not that for everyone. But with their help, I
can make such a big and good contribute to the
company for which I work.

TEAM WORK MAKE THE DREAM WORK

Lucky me that I have such a helpful team at the


store, from our Store Manager to my Fashion
Advisor team. Each one of us has our own duty,
from handling the invitation, make sure the
merchandise is complete, visual merchandising the
store, to ordering the champagne and canapé. With
their helps too, I can make this event successful.
