Another point you need to observe : When you do an addition of 2 single digit numbers, the reference single digit
number mentioned here and another single digit which is same or greater than the answer mentioned here, it will
give you an answer which is 10 or more or there will be a carry to the 10’s place.
NT
Eg: 9 and any number from 1 to 9, 8 and any number from 2 to 9, 7 and any number from 3 to 9, 6 and any number
from 4 to 9, 5 and any number from 5 to 9, 4 and any number from 7 to 9, 3 and any number from 7 to 9, 2 and any
number from 8 to 9, 1 and 9 when added results in 1 in ten’s place or will have 1 as carry to 10’s place.

MAGIC OF ZEROES
1. 0X0 = 0 any number multiplied by zero gives zero eg: 0x6 =0 and 6x0=0
2. Any number divided by Zero is infinity
3. Zero when added to any number from either side, results in the same number e: 0+23=23 or 23+0=23; 0+7=7
or 7+0=7
4. When Zero is subtracted from any number it will give you the same number e: 9-0=0, 112-0=0
5. Any number followed by zeroes can be expressed as a multiplication eg: 200 = 2x100 multiplier is the
multiple of 10 where first digit is 1 and rest are all zeroes
6. Any number divided by multiple of 10 where first digit is 1 and rest are all zeroes might result in a decimal
number eg: 1/10 = .1 ; 1/100 =.01
7. Any number divided by a number followed by zeroes might also result in a decimal number first example:
2/200 is 2/(2X100). If you cancel 2 in numerator and denominator, you will bet 1/100 =.01 second example:
100/1000 will give you 1/10 if you cancel same number of zeroes in numerator and denominator. That again
gives you a decimal number which is .1
or
Any decimal number when divided by a number accompanied by zeroes, complete the division cancelling
equal number of zeroes in numerator and denominator and then divide the numerator with the divisor
without considering the zeroes.ie do 2/2 to get 1 if its 2/200 . Now move decimal to the left(as many times
as the count of extra zeroes LEFT in the denominator without doing anything to the answer you got). You will
get .1 when you move decimal once and .01 when you move decimal twice. So .01 is the final answer.
8. Any decimal number when multiplied by a number accompanied by zeroes, multiply the multiplier without
considering zeroes at the end and move decimal to the right(as many times as the count of extra zeroes
IAL
RIGHT without doing anything when you got the final answer)
eg: 1.3 X 20 = ? Step 1: 1.3X2 = 2.6 Step 2: Move decimal to right once since 20 has one zero at the
end. So you will get 26.0
So 1.3X 20= 26

Note: 1 =1.0 ; 0.1 = 1
MAGIC OF ONES
1. 1 when multiplied by any number will give you the same number. Eg: 1X9 =9 and 9x1=9 ; 101x1=101 and
IDE
1x101=101
2. Any number when divided by 1 will give you the same number. Eg: 3 ÷ 1 = 3 or 3/1=3 or
3. Any number +1 = Next Number or 1+Any number = Next number. Eg:3+1=4 or 1+3=4; 114+1 =115 or 1+114=115
