LEARNING OBJECTIVES
By the end of the lesson, most of the pupils will be able to:
1. State mannerisms towards family. (Knowledge)
2. Express pride in one’s family. (Socioemotional)
3. Show respect for family. (Action)
LEARNING OUTLINE
Pre-lesson:
Pupils watch a video. Teacher poses a few questions and pupils express their views. Pupils are
required to complete the family history chart..
Lesson development:-
Activity 1:-
1. Pupils are asked to specify the manners that need to be implemented with family members.
Role-play good mannerism in a family. Examples: respect each other, love each other, speak
politely, visit each other, etc. (21st CA)
Activity 2:-
2. In pairs, pupils are asked to show good values and mannerisms in the family with family using
Fan & Pick activities. Pupils are asked to write a short speech to family members as evidence
of respect and love for them. (HOT)
Activity 3:-
3. Discuss the effects and consequences of the situation in the family, then presentation with
teachers’ guidance. (CBA)

 Situation 3: Celebrate a special day  Situation 6: Parent are too busy
