one Data identification and creation of the PCF - File 10

In this step we must define the location of OU or project, copy the Data (necklace, survey,
assay, etc.). Prior to entering the program must identify the keys to our project
such as: geometric boundaries in 3 dimensions, ranges of assaying, types
rock, etc.

1. On the local drive D: create a folder called and it gives a database copy that
on the CD.

2. Enter the ms compass to create the PCF (archi vo control project) and locate the folder
A, OK, OK.

3. We the MS-compass window, click appears in File / New / PCF, OK and fill as follows:

4. Go to File / New / Project and select the file una10.dat (PCF)

5. Close the MS-compass, open the ms3d, select r the folder, click Yes.

In the configuration window seleccio project Initialize nar from an existing PCF, click

two Data Fusion

What follows is merging the data with the called procedure CONCSA
(Convert collar survey, assays). this procedimient or generate an ASCII file named
DAT201.IA which contain all the information Bores. This file can be read and
charged to MineSight for subsequent deployment and 3D n.

Data of the proj to .

Necklaces file (Collars.csv) .- indicates the ID's , the coordinates of the points
drilling, maximum depth and other information Bores.

7
Manual Modeling, Optimization and Design Op Pit A - FIM

Deviations file (Surveys.csv) .- Shows direction and dip of bores

different intervals.

Assays file (Assays.csv) .- It shows the value It is assaying laws and density
different intervals. In this case we have gold and co bre with density information.

Lithology file (Lithology.csv) .- Contains information on rock types with their

respective codes along the holes.

8
Manual Modeling, Optimization and Design Op Pit A - FIM

Alteration file (Alter.csv) .- indicates the Morse Code or alteration recorded in the holes.

PROCESS CONCSA

1. Enter the compass.

Select follows the group and operates tion to quickly find the
CONCSA.

Or we can find it by putting in All and All respectively and seek

procedure by putting his name, then click either rch and you highlight the desired program.

Manual Modeling, Optimization and Design Op Pit A - FIM

A very important condition for the next step It is that polygons should be
properly closed, to verify this we enter geometry and properties
Polylines tab activate the "Polygon Fill"

8. Now we must interpret the geology, this rep resented by altering codes.
To do this we will create a new view of such adro. Close AU and drill
sections. Right click on the folder Assays / New / DH View / MineSight. I call it
"ALT"

33
Manual Modeling, Optimization and Design Op Pit A - FIM

9. Load all drills and choose Item Cutoff ALT

10. Cutoffs set in legend for codes d and alteration.

eleven. In the Intervals tab, add the item ALT COLORED or cutoff, Apply.

3. 4
Manual Modeling, Optimization and Design Op Pit A - FIM

12. Now draw sections for code alteració n 1. Create a new geometry
called "NS Sections ALT"

9 Creating solid with the "Linker Tool" to part go Sections

Now we will use previously created sections to generate solids with geological
tool linker Tool . We must first verify that to Section s have been
drawn in the same direction and having a flashpoint end in common. We can also

number of points for triangulation. A Once generated to solid gold and alt-1

3. Go to Polyline / Redefine / All EndPoints menu appears shall circles at points where
You started scanning the sections, the objective is that these are aligned so that
Triangulation is good.

12 Grade estimation by Ordinary Kriging and IDW

IDW estimate or inverse distance

This method applies a weighting factor to each It is surrounding the sample point block
mineralized. Said weighting factor is the inv erso the distance between each sample and the
center of the block, raised to a power n, their ele take values between 1 and 3. It is intuitive
assume that the potential influence of a sob value re a point decreases as the value departs
of that point, the attribute change as a function ng inverse distance. In other words,
is achieved give greater weight to the values Próxim os and minor but those furthest from the
point estimation. Only samples that come d ithin a given search area
They are weighted of said form. Gener formula the estimation is:

Where: Gi
: Known values of an attribute (law).
gave : Distances from the known values to pun to estimate.
M : Exponent distance considered.

However, this method has the following des advantage:

- It is empirical
- too geometric
- Does not consider the structure of the phenomenon minerality or (continuity and anisotropy)
- It does not provide an error rate associated with the estimate.

Defining the size of the search area

When any estimation procedure smudging ng either by IDW and Kriging, these
They demand a search area which can be a circle or ellipse if only out in search
NS and EW, should also be out by lifting We define the size of the sphere or
ellipsoid. It has the following general formula:

DMM = (St / n) 1/2

Where:
DMM : Average distance sampling
St : Total area covered by the samples
N : Number of samples

Approximate area covered by composites = 77000 m2

Number of composites = 26 DMM =
54.42

How to search for IDW method will be a CiR ass with dimension 54.42 * 2 = 108.84, the
which will assume 100 meters.
Then we enter the value Minesight 100 for NS and EW direction.
