“Overview of the Human Behavior in Organization”

Today is our first regular discussion, and Doc Unico continued her lecture about the
overview of the Human Behavior in Organization. The subject is not new to me since I
have been handling HBO class in undergraduate. With the overview of the Human
Behavior in Organization, as an employee I realized that this implies a broad body of
knowledge. This has different aspects and perspectives. As an employee, we should know
the limits of everything especially in terms of the behavior that we may possess inside our
organization. I really believe on what has been discussed that not all the behavior we
possess at home is the same behavior we act at our workplace. It is changing based on the
scenario we have and with our capacity to adopt certain changes.
At this point in time, as an employee, I can honestly say that I am demotivated in every
way. I'm a public servant, and I can't imagine serving my community and doing my job as
well as I used to. This could be due to what happened to me last January when I was ordered
to transfer in a specific department, which made me feel worthless. Based on my
observations, I believe that what occurs within the organization to which you belong
influences your behavior. It has come to a point where I really wanted to resign and leave.
In relation to our discussion, forces that may influence organizational behavior include how
people within your organization treat you and the type of organizational structure they
have. With my current situation, I am still waiting for a sign as to whether I should push
through or leave, but I believe that everything happens for a reason and that the Lord's will
is what will prosper.
