THEME

One of the themes is that younger people should

heed the warnings of their elders. In the story,
Icarus ignores the warnings of his father as soon
as he begins to take flight which ultimately leads
to Icarus death as he flies too high and the wax
melts from the heat of the sun.

POINT OF VIEW
The point of view in the myth “Daedalus” is in the
third person omniscient. The author does not use
the pronoun “I” when writing in first person. The
author also tells the thoughts other characters
such as the King Minos and Daedalus sin Icarus,
which how’s the view is not limited.

The artist uses of a modern medium and

incomplete-looking material and minimalist style
provide viewers with a new focus for Icarus,
giving the audiences the impression of a wider
world, barely seen before it’s all over.

TONE
The tone is jealousy in the beginning since
Daedalus was jealous of Perdix craftsmanship.
The last mood in the book is sadness or
dreadfulness since Icarus dies in the end.

THE TEXT
The text use in the story is descriptive because it
only describes the character. And it might also
narrative because it's only telling a story. Also
expository, it is giving you the facts and idea of
the story.
