CREATIVE REFLECTION

Name: Dhirenu Ladoing RE-113 BSCE-2A

It was a windy afternoon near the pantua area as the rain just passed by. We had just
participated during the PE day but even though we were slightly late compared to the main group
that started on time to begin their cleaning operation, we haven't felt tired as we were prepared to
serve the GKK pantua. The theme I want to emphasize in this reflection is about continuous service.
There are cases where people do slightly less efficient or shows tardiness with their performance in
working due to some reasons and one of them is dependent whether the job is difficult or not. There
is also this factor wherein their performance is affected depending on how they like to do the job and
this factor overrides the difficulty aspect because even though a job is not easy, you will perform
your best and show efficience still. What we did in pantua, even though required for our RE subject,
we are willing and glad to offer service for the GKK that is why despite all of the workloads which
contributed to being tired before this pastoral integration, as well as the difficulty of the job in our
cleaning operation, it did not affect the efficiency of our performance as we have done what we
intend to do there.

In our final Pastoral Integration, we take part in cleaning the GKK chapel and the area around
it. Which is filled with trash as the Chapel is near beside the gym, so it is expected that the place
would be trashed. And one of the GKK officials said that last night there was an activity/event held in
their barangay gym so that is why garbage/trash is spread in different areas of the gym and near the
chapel. So that is why we took the initiative to clean the place up, as we decided/planned it together
with my group and block mates.

But of course, before doing the cleaning sessions, we first ask for permission to the GKK
president, if we can also clean the chapel itself. Luckily, they happily agreed, and after doing that we
decided and planned on what things to do to clean the place up. Together the bond is strong, it is
easy to do things accordingly, we do things separately which makes the work faster. We picked up
the trash, segregated the bin, pulled the weeds, cleaned the railings of the chapel, and others. It
brings much joy and fulfillment doing the cleaning with the initiative to take part in it.

Doing all those things do really makes me happy, as taking part in this Pastoral Integration do
brings realization and experiences that all must do/experience. As by integrating love, unity is
accomplishable, which is evident in our initiative to do the things in planning to clean up the areas
near the chapel, and the chapel itself. Uniting do makes things easily done, which makes the job
done accordingly to what is planned.

In overall, I would say that I have learnt a lot from having this experience, from the day we
planned it to the success of our Pastoral Integration. Which truly I learned and realized a lot of things
in taking part in the Pastoral Integration. But of course, it is not just because of the Pastoral
Integration or the place we integrated that should be put in importance in cleaning. But rather all of
life here on earth should be put importance with, as we the stewards of God, should take the
initiative to take full responsibility in our actions.

Name: Krysthyl Joy Tayco RE-113 BSCE-2A

This final Pastoral Integration, we help the people clean their church. I am happy because I
have again experience this kind of thing where we unite and help without any problem. We just
happily joined them. We segregate garbage, picking some plastic waste and cleaning the railings
securing the church. The church is near from the gym, therefore it is really expected that it is not
clean especially that before we went there, there is an event that happened that is why there are a
lot of plastics everywhere in the chapel.

Doing all of those things, I have realize that, it is really different doing it all together even
though you have a lot things to do but then you have a company it is already easy for us to pick and
clean those. I have also observed that if we just enjoy doing it without thinking every works we
should do, we can enjoy the cleaning time. And that was what happened to us. We just enjoy
cleaning, picking, and wiping the grill window.

Before, doing the cleaning session in the chapel as our Pastoral Integration, we first ask
permission to the president of the GKK, if we can do it on their chapel, luckily they happily agreed.
After that, we meet our groups and planned the things that we should do in the chapel but because
all of us in our block agreed that we should join together, we planned that we should help the
members clean their chapel.

In conclusion, it is a great time having this experience, from the day we have planned until the
success of our Pastoral Integration because I have learned and realized a lot of things. Through
those learnings I have realize that it is not important if where or when we should do our pastoral
integration it is a matter of how we help other people even in a small way because that is how we
should live our life as daughters and sons of God.

The rain had just stopped when it got windy in the Pantua area. We had just taken part in the
PE day, but despite the fact that we started a little later than the main group to start their cleaning
operation, we didn't feel exhausted because we were ready to assist the GKK Pantua. Even if you
have a lot of things to do, working as a team makes it much easier for us to choose and clean those
things, as I have come to learn after completing all of those things. I've also noticed that cleaning
time can be enjoyable if we just enjoy doing it rather than worrying about all the tasks we need to
complete. And that is what actually occurred to us. Simply put, we like to clean, dust, and wipe the
grill windows.

Overall, my experience in this activity is worth it, and most of all, I really appreciate that we
did it all together despite being late because of the PE day. I just realize about the continuous service
to God, because there are time the we have personal transaction or important things that we need to
do that affect the performance but if we determination to serve God we can still do our best and
show efficience still.

The day we clean the chapel which is part of our pastoral integration I have realized that the
place is not cleaned and there are lot of garbage since the chapel is near the barangay Gym and one
of the members of the GKK officials say that there are lot of garbage thrown in there because there is
an activity in night and when we started to clean I realized that their GKK is not active and lack of
participation when it comes to cleaning because the weeds are tall and also there are still old
garbage found in the chapel.

I have seen that there are still stock waters from the rain and it is dirty and also the entrance
of the chapel has also a stock soils that was put in the sack. The whole duration of cleaning takes a
long time due to lot of things to clean. Also it takes time for us to be able to contact the officers to
ask permission to conduct a pastoral integration and when we arrived there we started to clean and
still we enjoy it because we all know that through this small actions of our we could able to serve the
Lord and with this we could able to help the GKK to clean their place and they would be able to use
the chapel clean and also the surrounding is clean and all the weeds, dead plants, stock soils and
stock water are all cleaned and thrown.

The time we clean the surrounding of the chapel it is too far from what it is before and this
makes me realize that once the leader of the GKK is active the chapel would not be that dirty and the
surrounding of the chapel should be beautified and as what I have notice also that they did not have
even a flowers or even a small garden with plants.

The whole duration of our pastoral was interesting and we also enjoy it and hoping that one
day that I could go back there and the place will be develop because the chapel was nice but lack of
bayanihan or lack of participation from the people around them. Also the GKK member should not
only clean when there is an event or activity for the church because the church is still one of sacred
places of GOD.
