Enabling Assessment - Environmental Self

As a Lasallian student, I had done many ways to nurture our ecosystem. In this

essay, I would like to share the 2 actions that I accomplished to contribute in nurturing

our ecosystem.

The first and the most common action which I do every day is cleaning. Ever

since when I was in elementary, one of my habits is cleaning. This includes sweeping

the floor, fixing the bed, decluttering my bedroom, and wiping the table. I know that for

some people, these very simple activities do little to maintain our ecosystem. But I

strongly believed that if all people do these very simple activities, it will have a big

impact on our ecosystem. I also strongly believed that helping to maintain our

ecosystem starts at home. If we do good practices in keeping our house clean, this will

help us to preserve the beauty of our nature.

The next thing I do is community service. The pictures presented above are

some of the pictures I took during our community service in G-NSTP002. Honestly

speaking, I really enjoyed this community service that was organized by the whole

BSA11 to Gawad Kalinga children. This was organized to fulfill our final requirements in

G-NSTP002 subject. I really enjoyed interacting with the kids. I really considered this

outreach event as one of the most memorable days in my life. I don’t mind how tiring it

is because I really enjoyed this day. As a Lasallian student, I am very happy that I

managed to share my blessings as well as to contribute to the development of our

ecosystem through these very simple acts.
