RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE MUNICIPAL NUTRITION ACTION PLAN OF
THE MUNICIPALITY OF SULTAN DUMALONDONG FOR CY 2022-2024

WHEREAS, endorsed for consideration by this body is the proposed
Municipal Nutrition Action Plan of the Municipality of Sultan Dumalondong for CY
2022 containing therein several programs, project and activities deemed necessary to
attain the development thrust of the health and nutrition sector;

WHEREAS, under nutrition is largely prevalent among young children and

women, likewise, over nutrition is also prevalent among adults;

WHEREAS, to effectively address the lingering problem of malnutrition in the

country, the Philippines Plan of Action for Nutrition (PPAN) 2017-2022 was
formulated and approved on February 21, 2017 and comes with a budget for the entire
period of six (6) years including its monitoring and implementation;;
WHEREAS,, the Municipality of Sultan Dumalondong has formulated it's
Municipal Nutrition Action Plan for 2019-2021 consistent with the goals and
objectives of PPAN 2017-2022;

 NOW THEREFORE, on motion by Councilor Jalilah ABDULMADID and
unanimously seconded;

RESOLVED, that this SANGGUNIANG, acting on the favorable recommendation

of the Committee on finance, ways and Means and Appropriations, hereby adopts the
Municipal Nutrition Action Plan of the Municipality of Sultan Dumalondong for CY 2022-
2024;

RSOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be furnished the

Municipal Mayor and Chairman of Municipal Nutrition Committee, the Municipal Nutrition
Action officer and all concerned offices for their information and guidance;
