“A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE REVITALIZED PNP KASIMBAYANAN

(RPK) IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF KAPATAGAN, LANAO DEL SUR THROUGH
THE MUNICIPAL PEACE AND ORDER COUNCIL”

WHEREAS, republic Act No. 7160 otherwise known as the Local

Government Code of 1991, particularly Section 16, the General Clause,
provides that Local Government Unit shall, within their jurisdiction, promote
public health and safety improve public morals, maintain peace and order, and
protect and preserve the quality of life of the constituents;

WHEREAS, the revitalized PNP Kasimbayanan is a program that

harmonizes the efforts of the Police, the community and the religious sectors
for a more holistic and values-oriented transformation in the community;

WHEREAS, one of the issues discussed was lauching and cascading

activities nationwide on the current Program. Thrust of the PNP. As per
instruction of TDCA lauchng and cascading of RPK;

WHEREAS, on December 14, 2022 RPK has been launched by the

Sultan Dumalondong Police Station together with the Sangguniang Bayan and
the Municipal Peace and Order Council giving emphasis to the said programs
as their crime prevention strategy.

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Hon. JAMEL B. KURANGKING, chairperson

Committee on Peace and Order duly second by Hon. NORSALIMAH P.
SAIPODIN-AGUAM, RSW,LPT and all members present, it was;

RESOLVED FURTHER, to provide a copy of this Resolution to the PNP,

Peace and Order Council, MLGOO Office, for their information and guidelines.

UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED, December 14, 2022 at SB Session Hall,

Lumbac Sultan Dumalondong, Lanao Del Sur.
