Summary
Down below you will see some of my many skills and accomplishments that I've gained and have
helped me with real world situations. Some relevant experience I've had since I was in middle
school is being a detail-oriented recycling sorter with multiple years of experience in sorting and
material handling. Helping with recycling for community service has taught me to sort accurately
and quickly for long hours and collaborate with coworkers for manage effective handling of
hazardous and reusable waste. Knowledgeable about streamlining organizational systems for
efficient and safe work. All of what I've included down below can translate into this job and will
help enhance the experience of multiple customers, you won't regret hiring me.

Skills
Basic Math - I've taken Math 1-3 Honors
and I'm currently enrolled for AP Statistics
my senior year. These courses have helped
me challenge myself and learn the
importance of being productive, always
having to be ready to learn, and to always
stay on top of my work. This has been by far
the most challenging class I've had to work
for to achieve an A, I put in the hard and
studied for hours to ace my Math final and it
all worked out in the end.
Fluent in Spanish - I come from 2 Mexican
immigrant parents and I was raised with
them talking to me and my siblings in
Spanish. This has helped me earn the Seal of
Biliteracy and has helped me take on courses
such as Spanish Heritage 1 & 2 as well as
enrolling myself in AP Spanish Lang and AP
Spanish Literature my senior year. I will be
able to communicate with non-english
speakers if they need assistance in the
workforce and reach out to a bigger
community.
Team Management - Team Building and
Management have been with me since I was
in Kindergarten. Growing up playing Soccer
and with Orchestra has taught me to work as
a team and how to communicate with each
other without arguing. I have been able to
carry these lessons into Track and Cross
Country and since we were all determined to
work as a team and fought hard to win, we
were able to get 2nd in TVL for Varsity Boys
Cross Country and 1st in TVL for Varsity
Girls in 2021 & 2022.
Active Listening - This has always been
one of my strengths in school, sports, and
music. School is a big source of where it came
from, I've always been a hardworking student
and athlete willing to challenge and be my
best self. Also in music you always need to
listen to the group as a whole and see where
you fit in to enhance the quality and tone
which has helped a lot with actively listening.
This skill can be carried out into this job
because it will help me make the customers
 Organizational Skills - Taking on
advanced courses has helped me with my
organizational skills, planning, and my good
work ethic. So far, I've taken 20 1/2 College
Prep courses that have taught me to always
be steady and consistent with my work. I
learned this the hard way as my freshman
year I lacked a bit both my semesters but
when Sophomore year came around I
realized I needed to grow from that
experience and actually put in effort for
better results which is how I finished that
year with a 4.25 GPA. Now as a junior I
continue this trend with finishing with a 4.38
in my fall semester.

Reliable & Trustworthy - I have rarely
ever backed down from a challenge, you can
always count on me to show up on time and
be ready to work. I've had zero period since
6th grade for Orchestra and I have had to
wake up at 6 am to get ready and show up to
school an hour earlier at 7:15 am compared
to the other 90% of the other students. My
dedication and love for music is enormous
and it shows how much I'd be able to give for
something I'm really passionate about. I am
committed to doing the things that give me
joy.

RECYCLING SORTER
Ripon Recycling Center - Ripon, CA
Cleaned recycling yard by sweeping, raking and picking up broken glass and loose paper
debris.
Collected plastic from local streets and other locations for proper sorting.
Collected and sorted recyclable construction materials into containers.
Worked successfully with diverse group of coworkers to accomplish goals and address issues
related to our products and services.
Demonstrated self-reliance by meeting and exceeding workflow needs.
Sorted recycled and recyclable materials into various areas for further processing,
transportation or repurposing.
