ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

First and foremost, I would like to praise and give thanks to our Almighty God for always

being a reliable shoulder to lean on, and for the showers of blessings throughout my journey in

this school year and its successful completion. I thank God for answering my prayers and giving

me the strength in accomplishing the assigned tasks and academic performances. Without His

grace this achievement could not become a reality.

Next to Him are my parents, whom I greatly indebted for giving me love and

encouragement; for providing funds to be used in our projects, particularly for the materials and

food. I would like to acknowledge my classmates as well for being responsible, hardworking,

and resilient in our group activities.

I would also like to express a heartfelt gratitude to all my subject teachers for effectively

sharing their knowledge and skills in various fields which inspired me to pursue an excellent

output and participation. Hence, I am grateful to my subject teachers for doing what is best for

all of us and for providing the knowledge that will be beneficial to our future endeavors.

I am thankful to all my classmates and schoolmates as well who have been always helping

and encouraging throughout the process. I have no valuable words to express my thankfulness,

but my heart is still full of the favors received from every person. I would not be in this position

without the generous guidance of them all.

REFLECTION
My journey as a senior high school student has brought an enormous impact to my

learning throughout this school year. It gave me the privileged and honor to be able to

accomplish each semester with good performance and excellent grades. My dedication and

resiliency are the most important factor that helped me to achieved and complete my studies in

the secondary education. Through the 2 years of being under the program of senior high school, I

discovered a lot of potential and even improved my skills when it comes to leadership and

academic fulfillment. This opportunity gave me the confidence to overcome my doubts, it

encouraged me to pursue a goal that will serve as my steppingstone for the future endeavors.

Despite the difficulties that I encountered along the way, especially during the adjustment for the

face-to-face classes, I can proudly say that I was able to manage everything and kept the balance

of my responsibilities as a student, a daughter, and a servant of God.

I, as a grade 12 learner and a graduating student, school year 2022-2023, has come so

far and been through a lot of challenges before the completion. However, the hardships did not

waver my strength and hope, it is through that I was able to stand and continuously progress with

my studies. As a matter of course, without the guidance and support of my beloved parents,

friends, classmates, and teachers, I am not certain to reached up to this point, hence, I am grateful

to all the people who were my supporting system and best company. Their presence and advice

truly helped me to come up with sound judgments and decisions as a student. It is them that

made me feel appreciated and recognized with all the efforts I exerted. No words can explain

how indebted I am to everyone I knew all through this school year.

 As I continue to learn and acquire knowledge, struggles are inevitable, I was pressured,

stressed, and exhausted most of the time. It was difficult for me to manage my time to all the

assigned tasks, not only for the subjects but also for the organization that I am holding.

Nevertheless, I am still determined even amid the exhausting things to do, I withhold my

responsibilities and implemented an effective study habit, as well as efficient strategy to cope up

to all schoolworks. Because of this, I learned a lot in the process, I was able to set a good

example and standard as a student and as a president of the classroom and organization. I was

also encouraged to participate in all programs and activities in our school that helped me to

broaden my knowledge and hone my skills in management and speaking. This school year was

indeed full of productivity, I was able to gain more confidence during the discussion of our

lessons, developed intellectual capabilities, solve, and analyze problems, answer oral questions,

and build projects.

I understood and grasped the importance of learning each subject, I was able to retain

the lessons and even apply it on actual and real-life scenarios. The subjects I am really intrigued

during this school year was Physical Science and Philosophy, those subjects bring the best

interest out of me. I learned the fundamental principles that govern the natural world and the

explanation behind the phenomenon that exist both in the life of Earth and to the outer space.

Philosophy, on the other hand, fostered my critical thinking skills, it made me realize how

complex a human mind can be and how we as social beings can form relationships. It deepened

my understanding of existence and influenced my mindset with a more holistic view in life and

meaning. Moreover, the Practical Research and 3 I’s subjects are the most hands-on subjects that

I experienced, we conducted a study, gathered data by disseminating questionnaires, and

analyzed each result by using the statistical tools. Research papers was a lot to process, it took us

a couple of weeks and event a month to complete our study. It is through these subjects as well
that I was able to practice analyzing and solving problems, providing efficient solutions that are

relevant and important not only for the target population of the study but also for the community.

The Media and Information Technology along with Empowerment Technologies also

contributed to my learning, it made me become more literate in using social media and online

application tools and platforms that are used in exchanging information. It is through these

subjects that I was able to become aware about the proper etiquette that should be practiced when

surfing the internet, the different malicious software was also introduced, as well as the history

of the technology and how can we make use of it as a catalyst for change. Furthermore, the

Contemporary Arts of the Philippines from Regions is also a great subject for me, I had the best

output constructed in this field. Though not talented but with the help of this subject I was able to

create arts digitally and with the use of traditional art materials too. Art gave me a different

perspective in life, it presented the concept of appreciating everything that exists and the

meaning behind its masterpiece. The English for Academic and Professional Purposes was also

one of the subjects that I excelled the most, this subject matter enhanced my writing and

speaking skills, it broadened my vocabulary and helped me to comprehend arguments with

presented evidence and facts. This subject allowed me to identify and recognized the fallacies in

arguments, it also gave me the best idea of how to construct an essay with proper integration of

its elements. English is a fun subject to learn, it is very useful especially when writing an

academic text, my learnings in this subject was great and so far, the best proficiency I acquired.

I would like to recognize the major subjects of the Accountancy, Business and

Management Strand in this school year, which is the Business Finance, Fundamentals of ABM,

Principles of Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Business Ethics and Social Responsibility, and

Business Enterprise Simulation. All these subjects offered a broad knowledge when it comes to

business management, the principles that must be followed, the ethical behavior that must be
implemented, and how everything works on the business environment. This helped me to gain an

insightful understanding about the economy and industry of our country, it made me understand

how to start a business effectively and what are the considerations of an entrepreneur.

Accounting, above all, is really a significant part of my study this school year, it provides the

foundation for making informed decisions, managing resources effectively, complying with

regulations, and assessing the financial health of an organization. The business finance also

fosters budgeting skills and keeping track of all the expenses and cash flows. Aside from that, we

also engaged in a business enterprise simulation wherein us the students produced our own

product and sell it in our campus. That was truly a great experience as an ABM student because

we were able to know how to manage a business in an actual condition.

In brief of my reflection, I still cannot imagine how far I have come, it is a journey that I

will never forget for the rest of my life. I will forever bring this treasure of learnings and

knowledge that I acquired in my senior high school year. This will remain and will always be

remembered as the peak of my excellent performance in my whole school life. From the bottom

of my heart, I am thankful to my subject teachers, classmates, and schoolmates for being part of

my expedition. As I move on to the next level of my education, I assure that everything that I

have learned will be useful and will help me to achieve my dreams in life. I will not stop from

reaching the top, but I will remain grounded no matter what status I accomplish. I have no other

words for this school year but pure gratitude, the Surigao Del Norte National High School has

truly mold me into a competitive, bright, intelligent, and responsible student. With this, I

officially end my journey as a High School student, I will now proceed and become better and

more successful. All this I offer to the Almighty God for His goodness and gracious blessings to

me.
