Plaridel has a lot of small and big businesses in our area, wherever you look there’s a lot
of business standing in every corner of our Barangay, but I prefer to observe the most famous
and the big business to the least business in our Area which are Grocery Stores/Supermarkets,
Pharmacies Drug Store, Water refilling station and the least one is Bakery Shop.
According to my observation, Grocery stores and supermarkets are the main business of
the people in our area. because our barangay Plaridel, officially the Municipality of Plaridel, is a
1st class municipality in the province of Bulacan, Philippines. it has a population of 86,479
people in Plaridel, and there is a total of 21 Grocery Stores/Supermarkets in our area. and the
second most business in our community is Pharmacies and Drug stores it has 15 pharmacy
businesses in our barangay the third one is Water refilling stations and the total is 9 water
refilling stations here in our Barangay and last the least and few business here in our baranggay
is bakery shop with the total of 5 bakery shop in our area.
To determine the business opportunities that I will present, I will show you the total
percentages in my Pie Graph of different businesses here in Plaridel. Bakery Shop business will
be the best business opportunity in our barangay because it’s have a lot affordable food in bakery
shop, a lot of advantages that can give in every people in our community not only in our
barangay but also in every people’s life. but ofcourse i will also take a survey questionnaire
below to know more about the advantages and disadvantages of Bakery Shop.

As you can see here in the pie graph, the Grocery Stores/ Supermarkets business is the
main business; 42%% of the business in our barangay is the Grocery Store/Supermarkets
business. followed by Pharmacies Drug store is 30% next is Water refilling station with the total
of 18%, and the last and the most few total of 10% in bakery shop has the main business
opportunity because there are only few Bakery Shop business in our area. So, I can use the
Bakery Shop business as a business opportunity because my competitors here are few and it’s
have a lot of advantages in our community.

-In question 4, 100% said No because it’s a walking area and they don’t need to use vehicles.

-In Question no. 6, 60% said they visit a bakery 1-3times a week. Both 20% for everyday and
Rarely.
-In Question no. 7, 50% choose the affordable price, 30% choose the Taste and 20% choose the
Hygiene Environment.
-In question no. 8, 60% choose the occasional 30% for cravings and 10% for seasonal.
-In Question No.9, 80% choose the Chocolate flavor while 10% both for mocha and strawberry.

-In Question no. 10, 70% choose the online platform, 20% for Tv and 10% for flyers.
