Training Program on School Leadership and Management

Reflection #1

1. What challenge did I face today as a leader?

The day one of the training was one of the most interesting training that I've ever

attended. It gave everybody the chance to learn new ways on how to be a good leader

and be aware of the things we need to do for the betterment of our school. The challenge

I face today as a leader, is school leaders must learn how to make a research that can

lead for the formulation and creation of an innovation that can contribute a lot in the

development of a school. And the challenges we encounter in the delivery of learning in

this time of pandemic.

2. How did I respond?

Based on what I have learned from the training, is that we should take into

consideration the following actions in doing a reserach; First, understand the concept of

the prioritized alternative through review of related literature. Second, identify the

subjects of the study. Third, identify the variables (What is the IV and the DV?). Fourth,

decide on the experimental model to adopt. And lastly, Plan experimental set-up (period,

instrument, etc.). Also, we mindful of the threats to validity and in stating the problem it

must start with a purpose statement.

The global impact of Covid-19 is multifaceted and is clearly manifested in almost all

sectors, particularly education. But education must not be stopped, we must ensure the

continuous delivery of quality education to our learners but doing it alone is a big task

for a school leader to bear, so we must tap our stakeholders on how they can contribute

or help in reaching our goal.

3. What was the result or impact of my response?

As a leader, the learning that I acquired today will help me and my school a lot. I

will be able to make an innovation with ease that is backed up by a research that we will

conduct.

Building linkages to our stakeholders is a good quality a school leader must

posses and this will leave a great impact on our learners for the continuous delivery of

learning.
