Adapting to the New Normal: Exploring the Lived Experience of Grade 7 Students

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

This qualitative research aims to determine the lived experiences of grade 7 students to the new normal
at Hermosa National Highschool.

Specifically, the study sought to answer the following questions:

1. Describe the respondents in terms of

1.1 Age;
1.2 Sex;
1.3 Educational Background?
2. What were their experiences when face-to-face classes started?
3. What are their reasons why do students struggle in the new normal education?
4. What were the challenges they faced when face-to-face classes started?
5. What is the impact of their adjustments to the new normal on their academic performance?
