We are pleased to offer you the position of Architect cum Interior Designer. The terms and
conditions of your employment are as follows: -
1) Employment
You agree that you will faithfully and to the best of their ability to carry out the duties and
responsibilities communicated to them by the Employer. You shall comply with all company
policies, rules, and procedures at all times.
2) Position
As an Architect cum Interior Designer, it is the duty to perform all essential job functions and
duties. From time to time, you may also add other duties within the reasonable scope of the
company’s work.
4) Salary
You are offered a monthly basic salary of B$750.00 (BRUNEI DOLLARS SEVEN HUNDRED AND
FIFTY ONLY) and will subject to an annually performance review.
5) Probation Period
You are required to undergo a maximum of six (6) months’ probation period with effect from the
date of employment. If your working attitude and performance are satisfactory, your employment
shall be confirmed and your salary shall be increased. During this time, you are not eligible for paid

time off or other benefits and the employer also exercises the right to terminate employment at
any time without advanced notice.
6) Period of Contract
Foreigners: Two (2) years and subject to renewal. Contract period is subject to changes depending
on working performance.
Locals: N/A
7) Working Hours
Managerial & Administrative Positions
Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 12:30pm & 1:30pm - 5:30pm
Friday 8:00am - 12:00pm & 2:00pm - 6:00pm
Saturday 8:30pm - 12:30 pm
Operation & Sales Teams are required to work in shift. Shift shall be discussed & approved by
Supervisor / Manager. Each member is required to fulfill 8 working hours per day (44 working
hours per week). Extra hour(s) will be counted as OT subject to Supervisor / Manager’s approval.
8) OT Claim
Managerial and Administrative positions are not entitled for OT claim. Sales, Operations &
Warehouse team members may only claim OT under the approval of the supervisor/manager.
9) Accommodation
Foreigners: Subject to the discussion with company.
Locals: Locals are expected to provide own accommodation.
10) Transportation
Foreigners: Subject to the discussion with the company.
Medical benefits do not apply to treatment incidental to pregnancy, disorders of vision, defects or
disease of the gums or teeth, any self-inflicted illness or injuries, complaints or injuries attributed
to or caused by immoral conduct, unlawful acts, exposure to unjustifiable hazards, provoked
assaults and the use of drugs, or any conditions contracted or inherent prior to the
commencement of the contract.
16) Insurance
Foreigners: Foreigners are covered by Workmen's Compensation Package as per required by
Brunei's labour law.
Locals: Insurance is not entitled to locals.
18) Termination
Probation period
Employee may terminate the service by giving TWO (2) weeks’ notice OR forfeiting TWO (2)
week’s salary in lieu of notice. However, employee may leave with immediate effect if the employer
approved. The employer may terminate the contract with immediate effect during probation.
After Confirmation
Either party can terminate the service by giving ONE (1) month notice in writing OR forfeiting ONE
(1) month’s salary in lieu of notice.
The company may terminate this contract with IMMEDIATE effect following just causes: serious
misconduct, willful disobedience of the company’s lawful orders, habitual neglect of duties,
absenteeism, insubordination, revealing secrets of the company and violation of the customs and
laws of Brunei Darussalam and/or the terms of this contract.
The Company reserves the right to terminate the contract with IMMEDIATE effect, and you shall
be subject to summary dismissal, without giving notice or compensation to you for any salaries or
other expenses whatsoever in respect of the unexpired period of the contract in the event that you
are considered to be underperformed, breach any of the terms & conditions herein or your conduct
is deemed prejudicial to the interests of the Company, including the commission of any unlawful
and immoral acts.
19) Confidentiality
You agree and undertake that you will not disclose or divulge to any third party or use for your
personal benefit any confidential information that comes to your knowledge by reason of your
employment with the Company. Confidential information shall include any and all information
relating to Company matters and information, formulas techniques, processes, concepts, systems
and programs, trade/business secret, technical knowledge or know-how, financial information,
plans, customer lists, suppliers list details and information, pricing policies and procedures,
marketing data, product data, any compilation of information used in the business of the
Company, its parent, subsidiary or affiliate companies.
You are not allowed to remove from the Company premises any hard/soft copies of the drawings/
documents related to the business of the Company without the prior approval from the
management.
