16TH INDONESIAN ASSOCIATION OF ORTHODONTISTS ANNUAL MEETING

GUIDELINES FOR POSTER PRESENTATION

1. All poster presentation should be in English


2. All posters will be set in portrait style orientation and all information (i.e. text, data,
photos, and figures) must be designed to appear within one window/slide
3. If participant design the E-Poster in Power Point (PPT), all information must be
appeared within ONE (1) slide only. Use Page Setup and choose Slide Size: “Custom
(Width 50 cm, Height 90 cm)” with a Potrait (vertical) orientation. Then, save the PPT
into a PDF format.
4. The resolution of the monitors used for E-Poster presentation is 1920 x 1080 pixels and
the size is 52,3 cm x 93 cm (in Portrait orientation). All the presenters are required to
set the resolution of their e-posters the same as the monitors.
5. Poster ID will be placed on the upper part of each poster
6. Author’s names, affiliations, and countries should be included in the poster. The title
should be the same as the one in your abstract
7. ONLY the FIRST author ID photo should be placed on the top right corner of the poster.
You may put a picture of the university logo (symbol) or your institute affiliation on
the top left corner.
8. Poster content should be clear and concise with good color contrast (all tables and
pictures should be clearly labeled). Poster background, preferably, be in a
monochromatic color (e.g. white) to allow better contrast and reading.
9. Content of Research Poster Presentation should be organized as follows:
Introduction (brief), Objectives, Material and Methods, Results, and Conclusion.
10. Content of Case Report Poster Presentation should be organized as follows:
Introduction, Objectives, Concise description of the case being reported, and
Conclusion.
Please provide good quality of extra and intraoral photographs (pre and post treatment),
good quality of pre and post treatment x-rays (panoramic and cephalometric). Please
DO NOT use photographs of study models to replace intra-oral photographs.
Cephalometric measurement of pre and post treatment should also be clearly described
and analysis provided.
11. It is mandatory that authors, who registered as presenter of research or case report
poster presentation award, must present the poster
12. The total duration of poster presentation is 10 minutes, consists of 6 minutes
presentation, followed by 4 minutes Questions and Answers (Q&A)
13. Presenters will receive a certificate as16th IAO Meeting Research Article or Case
Report Poster Presenter
14. The winner of Research Article and Case Report Award will be announced on
Friday, 15th September 2023 during the Gala Dinner.

E-POSTER SUBMISSION
1. The Committee only accepts E-Poster in a PDF format only
2. The deadline to submit the E-Poster Submission is Monday, 11th September 2023
3. Failure to submit the E-Poster by the deadline would result being cancelled
4. Please submit the E-Poster to scientific.16thiao@gmail.com
