English for Kids: 6 and 8 years old students.

Main theme: prepositions of place

1. Date and day on the board: Today is Wednesday, 8 th February, 2023 (2 mn)
2. The class starts with a song: hello, hello… hello students how are you?... (fantastic, very
good, very glad, very happy) *cada día se cambia el vocabulario con la finalidad de ampliar
lo y reconocerlo* (2mn)
3. Before to show the video of “ prepositions of place”

students the next sentence: Where is cheester? . also vocabulary of: cat and box.
Then the teacher is going to show the video twice. ( 5mn)
4. The teacher is going to teach the students the first preposition which is: IN (10mn)
The teacher is going to show a box and a ball which represents an example.

5. Then the teacher ask the students to draw any thing ( Teddybears, animals, balls, cars)
inside a box or a house. And then the teacher helps them to write in their notebooks, the
sentence: the teddy bear is in the house. (10mn)
6. The students are going to make an exercise in the worksheet
They have to do a circle and show the animal that is IN.

7) finally the teacher asks the students to stand up. When the teacher says: “the cat is outside the
box” the students have to jump inside an imaginary box. And when the teacher says “the cat is in
the box” the students have to stay quite.
