ACTIVITY:
SCInema: Short Film Making Contest

OBJECTIVES:
a. to showcase the creativity and digital literacy of BSSE students;
b. to enable students discover the important role of science and technology in
promoting sustainable future; and
c. to develop their communication and collaboration skills among other students.

MECHANICS:
1. The activity is exclusive for BSSE students of University of Caloocan City - Congress Campus.
2. Each section on all year levels must provide one (1) entry.
3. Each section will be ramdomly assign with any of the 4 types of conflict: Man vs. Man, Man
Vs. Nature, Man vs. Society, and Man vs. Self
4. The short film should be relevant to the theme: Promoting Sustainable Future.
5. The video must be at least seven (7) minutes long and should not exceed ten (10) minutes.
6. Each entry should prepare for thirty (30) seconds film teaser and a short film poster.
7. Each entry will be posted on the Official Facebook Page of the Science Department.
8. Each entry should have 1-2 representative(s) to shortly present/introduce their short film at
the day of event (Time and Date TBA).
9. Submission of entries is up until (Time and Date TBA)
10. If face to face set-up is possible, the film-showing will be held in a room at UCC - Congress Campus;
Judges, Entry representative(s), Host, Science Council Member(s) and Technical Staff are only allowed to
be present.
