Summary
The first subdivision, Barangay Ninoy Aquino, originally known as Marisol
Village, was built in 1965. After being split off from Barangay Pandan in 1998,
it became an autonomous barangay in Angeles City. After Sen. Benigno
"Ninoy" Aquino Jr. died away, Mayor Antonio Abad Santos came up with the
name Barangay Ninoy Aquino, which was approved by Congress. The first
barangay official election was held in May 1989.

The three major problems present in Brgy. Marisol is as follows: Waste

management, peace and order, and riding in tandem. Among the three,
waste management has been the major one. The Brgy itself planned to buy
another garbage truck in order to give closure to the said problem, the
drivers and barangay committees including the captain of the barangay are
involved in this plan.

Community Profile
The total population of barangay Ninoy Aquino is 11,500, while the income
distribution of barangay Ninoy Aquino is around 11 million. The barangay officials
in Ninoy Aquino are composed of seven kagawads. The solidarity and unity of the
people in barangay Ninoy Aquino are evident because the barangay officials are
doing their best to maintain the unity of the people. In every event that happens in
the barangay, you will notice that almost everyone is participating, not just
because they are having fun but because they are showing solidarity and being
united. In addition, the barangay officials keep the peace and order by assigning
peacekeepers every day, especially during the night, to maintain peace.
Introdcution of the Plan
A. What is the Plan?
The Barangay itself planned to buy another garbage truck in order to give closure to the said problem.

B. How was the plan developed?

The plan was developed because they notice that the Baranagy Marisol only has one garbage truck that is
responsible to get all of the waste of its netizens and it's not enough knowing how the population ranges from
thousands already. In addition, the garbage site where they threw their waste is too far since it is located at
Tarlac which makes the whole waste management transaction more difficult for the citizens, as quoted to the
statement of the Brgy official himself "We're only capable to get the garbage of our citizen one times a da, one
truck is not enoughsince we cannot guarantee that it can get all of the garbage needed to be disposed."
C. Who was involved in the development of the plan?
Drivers and Brgy committees including the Captain of the barangay lead this movement of solutions that can
benefit all of the citizens. In addition, the barangay captain is the one who's responsible for managing this
project and will only need the support of the Brgy. officials
D. Who will manage the implementation of the plan?
The person who will manage the said implementation are the Brgy committees and also the Brgy Captain.
E. Other Information
(Timeline) The said solution which is another garbage truck will serve as a permanent solution to waste disposal
in the barangay. However, its time span cannot be guaranteed since there will be an election, and if the said
project happened to intersect with the upcoming election-even the barangay officials have no other choice but
to postpone it for a while and let the newly elected officials of the barangay continue the solutionary project, but
this will only happen if the project is not yet fulfilled when the election started.

(Funds) The funds will be from the budget of the barangay Marisol. As the kagawad said, the project of buying a
truck is now ongoing.
(To whom does the data come from? ) The data comes from the budget of Brgy. Marisol. The barangay budget is
authorized by the Sangguniang Barangay
(Who will benefit from this action plan?) The main beneficiaries of this plan are the residents of the barangay
Marisol. In addition, we all know that garbage trucks play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and
overall well-being of residents in a community.
