disadvantages of distance education?

1. LITERATURE REVIEW: (250 Words)

What does the literature/research say about this issue/topic? By using NAU
Library or Online Search engines, conduct a literature review.
 You need to include 5 different sources (book, journal article, web article
etc.) in your review. Try to use current sources as much as possible.
 You need to summarize and synthesize your sources by discussing a
common theme or issue. 
 You don't need to critique your sources
 You don't need to evaluate your sources (if the sources are trustworthy,
weather the author has a bias or not)
 You need to provide background information such as history and
definitions

Literature Review: The situations and results of distance education students

were observed and studies were conducted on their advantages and
disadvantages.“ In the current scenario experienced, the search for information,
rapidity, flexibility, and quality is unceasing. For this reason, both companies and
professionals have sought ever more intensely to specialize and adapt to the
market-required standards. It is in this scenario that today you can come across
the increasing range of courses offered at a distance, which are the type of
education called distance education or distance learning. ” (Oliveira, 2018).

Students and institutions embrace distance learning with good reason.

Universities benefit by adding students without having to construct classrooms
and housing, and students reap the advantages of being able to work where and
when they choose. Public school systems offer specialty courses such as small-
enrollment languages and Advanced Placement classes without having to set up
multiple classrooms. In addition, homeschooled students gain access to
centralized instruction.(Simonson, 2016)

There many advantages of the distance learning but here I will list the best three
advantages of distance learning from several resources.
One of the best advantage of distance learning is it could be learned from
anywhere and anytime. It does not matter which part of the world you are at that
moment you can start learning. Even if you are a citizen of a different country,
you may join the program and graduate from international schools of top
countries (Nagrale, 2013).

Apart from the many good aspects we have listed here, there are also
disadvantages of distance education that are not good. Especially during the
pandemic period, many educational students and their families were negatively
