TRADE
1. In this unit all contents from this semester will be
applied and performed according to the
instructions given.
2. You will demonstrate your English proficiency level
B1 as it is expected.
 In groups of 3-4 students gather all the information requested
and prepare a Foreign Trade workshop for small business owners
Heads-up: There is a workshop about “Importación de insumos
básicos como herramineta para emprendedores” by Ana Candia
on July 3rd at 11.00 am.

The objective of the workshop is to introduce Foreign trade to

small business owners willing to improve and grow, also to help
them understand the steps and procedures for
INSTRUCTIONS importing/exporting.

In the workshop there are 3 types of small business owners:

Handmade crafts businesses – Nuts and dried fruits producers –
Appliances spare parts businesses.
 Identify Your objective is to identify how Foreign trade may help
them, according to their particular businesses.

INSTRUCTIONS Prepare You will prepare a workshop presentation of about 6 to 10

minutes.

In the presentation you will deliver graphics, extra material,

Deliver self-study, brochure material; and you will make the

audience participate in at least 1 short practical activity
(quiz, game, other).

presentation and the grade is 1.0. No time for claims. You don’t

 We will have 4 sessions for this
project
•Lesson 1: Get together with your group and start preparing. Ask all doubts to your teacher
•Lesson 2: Show your teacher the final version of your visuals and speeches. We don’t want
surprises (“chamulleishon”)
