1. Purpose
The purpose of this method statement for Diassembly Kelly Bar of the Rotary Drilling Rig
Machine before the Demobilisation define the specific tasks to be performed by Company
relating the assembly safety of the works.

2. Disassembly of Kelly Equipment

1. Removing the Kelly
2. Set mast to upright position.
3. Lower drilling tool to ground.
4. Remove drilling tool.
5. Unlock Kelly sections and move rotary drive to lowermost position.
6. Lift Kelly until square stub is approx. 20 cm above rotary drive.
7. Tilt mast forward by 2 - 3°.
8. Lower Kelly until Kelly rests with square stub on ground.
9. Go on lowering the Kelly and at the same time travel in reverse with the machine.
10. Remove Kelly from main rope.
11. Removing the Rotary Drive
12. Set mast to upright.
13. Move crowd sledge to lowermost point.
14. Adjust the uppercarriage in line with the undercarriage, with the mast located on the
same side as the crawler drive wheels.
15. Stop engine.
16. Disconnect electric lines.
17. Disconnect hydraulic lines.

3. Mounting Rotary Drilling Rig on Transport Truck

After the Hidraulic drilling rig was dissambled, then Operator driling Rig positioning the
heavy equipment to fit into the trailer.

After the kelly bar hidraulic rotary rig dissambled, help by Crawler crane as service crane.
Operator service crane put the kelly to dolly.
