Telephone conversation collection

This project requires you to use the designated recording app to make a phone call to discuss on a
related topic. If you are willing to participate in this project, you can find your own friends or your
family members to be your partners, that will be much more convince for you to control the quality.

Since this project requires you to make phone calls, both your partner and you need to download
Appen Task.

The app you need to download: Appen Task

The topic you can talk about: religion(25~30mins), tribe(25~30mins), military(15~20mins),

economy(15~20mins), science and technology(15~20mins), new energy(15~30mins),
politics(15~20mins). Total will be around 2.5 hours.
And we prohibit the speech related to cults, pornographic, violence, government, religion etc; The
illegal content is forbidden.

Requirements of this project:

1. You must be a native speaker of Urdu from Pakistan. And you can speak Urdu fluently. or you
won’t get paid!!!

2. Environmental requirements: Please record in a quiet environment, if the background noise is

too loud, your recording will not be accepted.

3. Both parties to the call must use the target language, and cannot be mixed with other languages,
such as English, dialects, etc.

4. Recording’s volume should be normal, not too loud, or too low (you can adjust the device call
volume according to your personal tone)

5. The content of the conversation must be a free conversation between the two parties. It is not
allowed to record singing, reading, music, or recording voice broadcasts.

 How to use Appen task to start recording:
IOS System can download Appen task through App Store.
Android and others system can download from your Google Play or
you can download through this link:

2. Using the invitation code and project number that has been given by email to login.

3. If you are the receiver, please click calling button first, after you click this button, and seen this
interface. And you can wait for caller to call you.

4. If you are the caller, please wait until the receiver got that interface, then you can click calling
button.
5. Here is the screenshot of calling moment, you can choose when you want to finish the calling.

6. After recording, please click this button to get into another topic.
