As a SHS TVL-ICT student in immersion, it is important to adhere to the

company's policy guidelines, rules, and agreement. Immersion programs are
designed to provide students with real-world work experience and expose
them to the professional environment. By following the company's policies,

There are clearly no restrictions that are judged inappropriate or detrimental

to the company's personnel. Instead, a thorough set of rules has been carefully
put into place, promoting a setting that puts emphasis on inclusivity, security,
and individual expression. These rules not only provide a caring and safe
environment, but they also give people the freedom to accept and enjoy their
many cultural identities while still adhering to the rules. The corporation
fosters authenticity and encourages people to share their unique insights
while keeping the values and standards set by the company by acknowledging
and respecting the cultural heritage of its employees.
ACTIVITY 3 | Situational Analysis

CONFIDENTIALITY IN THE WORKPLACE

Suppose you work in a police station or a law firm and signed a

confidentiality agreement regarding all their cases at hand, suddenly your
friend who was a suspect to a crime asked you for some documents that are in
your office’s possession that may help him in his case. How would you deal with
the situation?

I will politely deny the request made by my friend because it goes

against my moral standards and personal beliefs. I have voluntarily
agreed to keep the strictest confidentiality of the cases involved by
signing a contract, fully aware of the serious repercussions that
would result from any breach. Data that must be kept private at all
times and under all situations is referred to as confidential
information. Even if the person making the request is a close friend,
I won't reveal, talk about, or reveal any information about the
ongoing cases, especially if my friend is named as a suspect in a
crime. My resolve to reject their request for the documents is
strengthened by my friend's shady character . Im a person of justice
and I will not tolerate injustice even if it's my friend
ACTIVITY 4 | Conflict Resolution

Did you ever experience disagreement and conflict with co-workers?

How did you handle the situation? How would you rate your skills in handling
differences of opinion? Please give an example that illustrates that skill.

Yes, I did some disagreement and conflict with co- workers but i
choose to be calm and respectful , because i don't want to make
conflict with my co - workers.I should probably describe an event I
had in the past that was comparable. It happened when one of my
coworkers unintentionally damaged a valuable item that belonged
to them personally. Anger surged through me as I considered the
possible financial costs involved with fixing what might have
seemed like a small accident. I was able to diffuse the situation,
though, by admitting the pointlessness of getting into a pointless
dispute. Even while I have to admit that my situation-handling skills
were adequate, they didn't quite meet expectations. Although I
recognize how important it is to appreciate different viewpoints, I
thought her explanation and point of view were very dubious. I let
my emotions get the best of me, and the argument went on longer
than it needed to.
REFLECTION PAPER

It changed me a lot i realized that being a worker is not easy there

are some conflict and disagreement with co - workers, you may face
some challenges that are hard to solve but if you focused on that you
will become successful in your life.being a worker is not a simple job
it requires focus dedication to become a good worker , experiencing
this worl immersion it give me a lot of knowledge and skills ,all
those experience will help me become a better worker in the future
all those valuable lessons and skills that i learned in the work

Logo and it's Meaning

This is the modernized and the current version of the logo/seal of the
Cabancalan National High School. As seen from the image above, the seal
is divided into four main parts:
Laurel Leaves - The laurel leaves symbolizes the learning of
students, as well as the students’ success and triumph in holistic
development.
Torch -  The torch symbolizes the knowledge and wisdom of the
students. It is often depicted as the light that illuminates the dark world
through learning, scholarship, teaching, invention, observation, and study.
Eagle - The eagle depicts the resilience and tenacity in overcoming
the academics of the students in the school to achieve their goals in their
lives. The students are able to soar high amidst all their adversities akin to
that of an eagle. The eagle is also the national animal of the Philippines
which is the Philippine Eagle.

History of the Institution

Cabancalan National High School is one of the complete secondary schools in the
division of Mandaue City. It occupies a portion of the school site of Cabancalan
Elementary II School with 80 teachers, 2 finance staffs, and 1963 students as of
March 2016. It also offers night classes to cater the needs of the working students.

Cabancalan National High School was established in 1985 to answer the

educational needs of the residents in the area and those coming from the
neighboring barangays like Casuntingan, Banilad, and part of Tipolo and
Subangdaku.

The school is privileged to be part of “Partners In Learning” (PIL) and the

UNESCO school net since 2004. This program features teaching technology and
teaching with technology. Twelve teachers in English, Math, and Science were
trained as curriculum writers of the said program. The school is also one of the ICT
Model Schools Network of the Philippines. The school is implementing the
Enhanced Basic Education Curriculum (K to 12).

classroom, and one classroom converted to a library managed by a teacher
designated as a librarian. It has 3 computer laboratories, science equipment, a
bakeshop, and a gymnasium.
The school enjoys a fiscal economy. It receives its monthly MOOE directly
from the Department of Budget and Management.
Description Of Products/Services And Stakeholder

Students
Students are the primary stakeholders in the school. The main reason why a
school was built is for student learning. They are greatly impacted and are the
primary beneficiaries of the educational system, hence, they are the primary
stakeholders in education.
School Cafeteria/Canteens
The school canteen exists to provide and sell food and beverages to students
and teachers as approved by the principal. The school canteen offers a wide variety
of delicious foods all whilst maintaining its nutritional value. The products offered
in a school canteen are primarily biscuits, junk foods, school supplies, and fruits
and vegetables. Additionally, they also sell foods for breakfast and lunch for
students and teachers to consume.

Pictures of work site

COMPUTER LABORATORY
The location of our work site is at the Computer Laboratory. Our immersion
teacher for the workplace and also the teacher in charge in the workplace is Mr.
Robin Locksley Pableo. The work site is equipped with various tools and
equipment necessary for learning as well as for working. The computer laboratory
has various computers in each column where students are able to use freely when
permitted by the teacher in charge. In order to maintain a clean and healthy
environment, we clean the computer laboratory every after class and immersion
time.
Issues/Concerns Encountered in Work Immersion Program

One of the primary challenges and issues I have encountered in the work
immersion program pertains to the persistent and frustrating inadequacy of
essential equipment. As a participant in the program, it has become
apparent that the absence of proper tools and resources makes it
exceedingly difficult to fully engage and learn in a practical setting. This
lack of necessary equipment not only hampers our ability to grasp vital
concepts and acquire skills but also diminishes the overall quality of our
experience. I strongly believe that rectifying this equipment deficiency
should be given top priority to ensure that future participants can maximize
their learning potential and truly benefit from the work immersion program.

Moreover, the absence of hands-on work experience greatly concerns me,

as it is one of the primary objectives behind the establishment of work
immersion programs. As an individual aspiring to enter the professional
world, I recognize the significance of practical knowledge and skills that can
only be acquired through direct involvement in real work environments. By
participating in work immersion programs, I firmly believe that I can bridge
the gap between theoretical learning and practical application, enabling the
development of vital competencies and adaptability highly sought after in
today's competitive job market. Therefore, engaging in hands-on
experiences during work immersion would not only enhance my
employability but also provide valuable insights into various industries,
aiding me in making well-informed career choices.

The persistent lack of practical experience in a workplace has been a major

concern for me, given its crucial role in preparing individuals for the
demands of the professional world. Without hands-on exposure to real-life
work scenarios, there is a risk of encountering challenges and difficulties
when transitioning from an academic setting to an actual job environment.
Practical experience not only allows for the application of theoretical
knowledge but also fosters the development of essential skills such as
problem-solving, decision-making, teamwork, and effective communication.
These skills are indispensable for success in any career and are often best
cultivated through direct engagement in workplace activities.
