9.00 – 9.30
Take lines in from P1/2 door. Children hang up coats and change shoes. They need snacks, water bottles and reading books
into class. Children have a maths colouring sheet as a starter. During this time do dinners.
9.30 – 10.10
Spelling: 2 spelling groups, red and green (see spelling groups list on wall). Red group are doing ‘th’ sound, green group are
doping ‘oi’ sound. Give red group their list of words and get them to write list in jotter then start writing sentences for each of
the words. Meanwhile go over green groups words, watch Geraldine the Giraffe does oi on you tube. Give them word list and
ask them to write words in jotter then use magnetic boards and letters and work with a partner to spell words. Magnetic boards
are under smart board. Take Red group out and go over their words and watch Geraldine the giraffe does th.
10.10 – 10.30
Show /tell: pick children to tell you something they did at weekend.
10.30 – 10.50 PLAYTIME

11.50 – 11.45
Maths: Measure. WE have looked at estimating so are going onto estimating then measuring. Children could complete pages
in activity books or you do another measure lesson. Triangles and squares group (red books) could work with Mrs Watt as they
will need reminder how to use a ruler.
11.45 – 12.20
Reading 4 reading groups, Mrs Watt with you until 12.05. I have written on post it notes pages children have to do.
Children not reading will draw a picture and write their weekend news.
12.20 – 1.20 LUNCH

Teeth
1.40 – 2,15
French, ca-va. Watch a you tube clip asking how you are in French. Complete sheet.
2.15 – 3.00
Topic, Technology. Watch power point on Twinkl about digital technology. Class discussion. If time I have left 2 sheets.
