2 Have the students use iPads to do IXL so that my class can continue to be a
leader in IXL questions answered. At about 8:40 you can change to use this
website to give them an iPad quiz on nouns, verbs, anything they've learned
in the second grade, quizziz.com.
9:55-10:25 Snack and Recess

12:00 – 13:00 You will be responsible for taking the students to recess and watching
them, Shangyin rock area. You can take them out to the playground at
12:35 and they come back in at 12:55.

13:50 – 14:40 Inquiry

6 Geography task 1 is on the server under Island Life. Part 1: They'll be

learning what a map is, labeling the continent (and oceans if they can) as a
group, then researching islands around the world and writing some down to
add to their map on A3 paper for each group. There is one slide where
 Instead of showing them a video about the islands of Sweden, you can just
use Bing to show them pictures of different islands of Sweden.

Book Review - The students will start their book review today, in the back of
7 the room there is a huge selection of Raz-Kids books that they can use. Last
week I showed them the book review PPT so they should be somewhat familiar
with what a book review is. PPT will be in the English folder under Jan 8-12.

Dismissal Dismissal – 14:20 – Students need to be outside at this time. You will be
responsible for taking students to the main gate.
