Ask the learners about the weather for the day.

Group the learners into 3 and using the T-chart let each group compare and contrast wet and dry season.
The first group to post their answer will earn points on the incentive chart.

environment and people.

Today we are going to learn how season affect many aspects of our lives: from food that we eat to the
clothes that we wear, the things we do, and the things we see around us.
B. EXPLORATION

Show to the class a video presentation about the appropriate activities for wet and dry season.

(GUIDED PRACTICE)
Group the learners into 3 groups. Set standards before performing a group activity. Distribute task cards
and materials.

Say: Human activities are affected by the seasons. The clothes that we wear as well as the food that we eat
also depend on the seasons. In this activity, you are to Identify whether the following activities are
appropriate for the dry or wet season.

Group the learners into 3. Let them cut the planets and arrange it according to its distance from the sun.
The first group to post their answer will earn points on the incentive chart.

Say: Our solar system is part of a vast galaxy name Milky Way. The Sun is the center of the solar system.
It has eight planets named Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. Four of
which are small rocky planets and 4 giant gaseous planets.

The first four planets Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars are called terrestrial or inner planets. They are
made of rocks and metals, has no rings and are closer to the sun.

Today we are going to compare and contrast the different inner planets according to its characteristics.
