Light Up Your Space: Designing and Simulating an Energy-Efficient Lighting System

Design and install a lighting system for a small room or space. Students can start by
conducting a lighting survey of the space, taking measurements, and noting any
existing fixtures, switches, and outlets. Based on their findings, they can then design a
lighting system that is energy-efficient, functional, and aesthetically pleasing. You can
use software tools that allow users to create and analyze lighting designs. Don’t forget
to document the design process.
