MAINTENANCE MANUAL

PILOT ALTIMETER — REMOVAL / INSTALLATION


1. Pilot Altimeter — Removal / Installation
A. General
The Pilot Altimeter is installed in the pilot instrument panel to the right of the Electronic Attitude
Director Indicator (EADI).
B. Preparation

(2) Aircraft Preparation
(a) Prepare aircraft for safe ground maintenance. See Mandatory Precautions -
Maintenance Practices, 20-00-05, Maintenance Practices.
(b) Pull, tag and install safety clip on the following Circuit Breaker (CB):

C. Removal
(1) Loosen securing screws and remove instrument from pilot instrument panel.
(2) Disconnect electrical connector at rear of indicator.
D. Installation
(1) Connect electrical connector at rear of indicator.
(2) Inspect for presence of foreign objects.
(3) Locate indicator in pilot instrument panel.
(4) Tighten indicator securing screws.
E. Follow On
(1) Remove tag, safety clip and depress circuit breaker pulled in Step 1.B.(2)(b).
(2) Perform Air Data System - Operational / Functional Test, 34-12-00, Adjustment / Test.
(3) Record all maintenance actions in accordance with current governing authority.
