1.0 PURPOSE
This method statement explains the sequential steps for removing the existing
Acknowledgment Wall Sign and installing the new sign at the same location.

3.0 RESPONSIBILITIES
This job can be carried out by the operatives without much supervision. The supervisor
responsibilities are mainly to ensure that the signage are installed in the correct
sequence as per the key plan. The HSE officer’s role is to ensure that the area is
cleaned once the signs are installed.

Competency
o The operatives should be experienced in installation of signage.

5.4 Locate and confirm that the new will be of exactly same dimensions as of
the removed signage.
5.5 Align the bracket and drill holes on to walls for installation of the bracket.
5.6 Install the brackets using appropriate screws, check for alignment.
5.7 Install the signage panel onto the brackets using concealed screws on
the side.
5.8 Check for alignment and quality of application.
