Question 1 : Demonstrating Collaborative Skills

As a learner, using collaborative learning skills has assisted me in a variety of ways.


Collaborative learning has been found to help pupils build higher-order thinking
skills. It also boosts self-esteem and confidence. Collaboration that is well-planned
helps me to identify and value the worth of my efforts. It gives me the assurance that
I can teach and learn from other pupils. Furthermore, teamwork strengthens
knowledge absorption by allowing for greater listening and sharing. As a learner,
something learnt with and from a teacher or student is more likely to be remembered
than something broadcast from the front of the classroom. The interaction and
discussion about new ideas and methods to achieving the task given make it more
remembered and force the learners to use a higher degree of competence.
Furthermore, collaborative learning skills have highlighted my personal strengths
and abilities, which have been acknowledged and respected by other students.
Teamwork learning is possible with effective collaboration.

iii. As a learner, I’ve understood that communication is a work of art and that there’s
consistently space for me to keep picking up, developing, and sharpening my
abilities. This is the reason we should consistently attempt to further develop our
communication capacities. Above all else, by further developing our communication
capacities, we can make trust among the people we experience and talk with
consistently. The ability to pay attention to other people, banter thoughts or
perspectives, and embrace discourse shows them that I am significant with regard to
setting on the most ideal choice. Not exclusively can solid communication assist
understudies with making entrust with each other, however, it can likewise assist us
with building entrust with the people we meet consistently. Besides, by further
developing my communication skills, I will actually want to set up better
associations with individuals. In both my own and expert lives, it is a huge reality.

Question 3 : Demonstrate Critical Thinking and Reasoning Skills

i. Rest time, Time with her child, Balanced and healthy life, and Transportation are
the issues that Yana should consider in making this difficult decision.
ii. Yana should consider the job offer from 99 Speedmart because it is nearer to her
child’s daycare center. Since the daycare center is near to the 99 Speedmart Yana could
visit her child for her lunchtime and can have lunch with her child. If there is an
emergency for her child, Yana could rush to the child’s daycare center faster. For
example, if Yana’s child is fell sick, Yana can bring her child to the clinic as fast as she
can since her working place is near to the child’s daycare center. Moreover, If Yana
chooses to work at KK Super Mart she has to work on 24 hours shift. Working on 24
hours shift could damage Yana’s health and the time she is spending with her child and
with her family members will be less. If Yana considers the job offer from 99 Speedmart
she can have a balanced and healthy life and can spend some time with her child and
family members. Yes, I agree that the 99 Speedmart is located 2 km far from Yana’s
house, if Yana owns a motorcycle or a bicycle, she can use it for her traveling. Not only
that, if Yana is a part-time student she can manage her time well if she considers the job
offer from 99 Speedmart. She can arrange her study schedule according to her work
roaster.
iii. I have applied CAF to decide for Yana because as an article mentioned that Consider
All Factors ( CAF) is a strategy that directs attention to multiple considerations about a
topic. Given a specific amount of time, every possible aspect of a topic is open to
consideration rather than settling on the first ideas that pop into one’s mind. Therefore we
should consider all the issues before we decide on a difficult time. We should have some
time to think properly, we should be able to identify the problems we might face in the
future from the decision we have made.

Question 4 : Demonstrate Creativity and Innovative Skills

i. Decorating or drawing some patterns in the notes is a creative idea for learners to catch
up easily on what are they learning in every course. I consider this way as a creative idea
because some people learn things better visually. Drawing pictures to help learners to
remember key points will truly go a long way. Drawing or decorating the notes will help
ease overall tension. So it is also a creative idea for learners to escape from their tension
and stress.
ii. Spending time with some gadgets to illustrate or designing own templates to take
down the notes is an innovative idea for this 21st-century learners. The reason I consider
this idea innovative is that this era depends on modern technologies. Therefore when
learners spend their time on gadgets to illustrate their designs in their notes makes their
brain function faster and it will lead them to think more innovative in their education.
iii. .Creativity is changing thoughts, creative mind, and dreams into the real world. At the
point when we are being creative, we can see the secret examples, make associations
between things that aren't ordinarily related, and think of groundbreaking thoughts. There
are more ways for students to be more creative. Now and then, a difference in view is all
we want to consider an issue, and the most obvious opportunity with regards to landscape
to cultivate inventive reasoning is getting outside. Taking a walk is perhaps everything
we can manage to help our creativeness and support better approaches for thinking. Also,
taking a stab at something outside of our inventiveness safe place is one of the ways of
being more innovative. At the point when we have a go at a new thing, it can assist our
cerebrum with making associations and move another sort of creativity. Then, at that
point, that new sort of imagination can assist us with being more creative in different
parts of our life. At long last, leaving ourselves alone exhausted is one of the ways of

 Question 6 : Awareness of Global Citizenship Education and
Environmental Challenges

INTRODUCTION

Global Citizenship Education is an offer authorization for students to become


dynamic supporters towards a progressively serene, comprehensive, and secure world.
Global Citizenship Education also gives attention towards learning from other trans-
formative education processes such as human rights, inter-national otherwise intercultural
understanding, sustainable developments as well as education for peace. So, based on the
above explanations, it can be confidently said that Global Citizenship Education aims to
empower all learners of all ages to active roles, both locally and globally, in building
more peaceful, tolerant, inclusive, and support for the world. Therefore, with Global
Citizenship Education, all learners of all ages should be able to solve problems, make
decisions, think critically, communicate useful ideas and collaborate with others. This
does not only assist them personally and educationally but eventually professionally as
well.
According to an article, Nowadays the international community experiences an
unusual health crisis and latest challenges threatening the rule of law. This issue has
become a concern for many societies around the world and also we realize that the
challenges we face are interconnected. As mentioned in the article Global Citizenship
Education is UNESCO’s response to these challenges. Since we are learners need to
know the aims of Global Citizenship Education of this 21st century. Active learners of all
ages need to know their identity and their position within a network of multiple
relationships such as family, friends, school, local community, and country which is the
basis for understanding the global dimension of citizenship. Moreover, students of all
ages should understand the structures of global, national, and local governance, the rights,
duties, and responsibilities of each citizen.

Benefits of Global Citizenship Education


Global Citizenship Education is the biggest plus for all learners of all ages in this
21st century. There are some benefits that I have gained from this Global Citizenship
Education. In this 21st century, there are unique events, global activities, natural disasters,
and many more that have been happening all over this globe. Therefore, as a learner, I
have to build my understanding of these world events from Global Citizenship Education.
Moreover, developing an argument and voicing my opinions via social media such as
Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp, and so on regarding issues that happen in this current
situation is one of the benefits that I get from Global Citizenship Education. Not only me
every citizen can show their abilities to act and influence the world around them.

The objective of The Assignment


The objective of this assignment is to improve our skills and knowledge towards
Global Citizenship Education and the 3-key conceptual dimension of Global Citizenship
Education. Education must provide young people with the required knowledge and skills
to become responsible global citizens who can be responsible and participate in activities

in the direction of Global Citizenship Education. According to one of the agreed
education targets, the learners should get the knowledge and skills looked for supportable
development, sustainable lifestyles, and human rights. Sustainability of the environment
towards Global Citizenship Education is the second objective of this assignment.

3-key Conceptual Dimension of Global Citizenship Education


 Cognitive
Learners acquire knowledge and understanding of local, national, and global issues
and the interconnections and interdependency of not the same countries,
people and also learners should develop skills for critical thinking and analysis.

 Socio-emotional
Identify and gain different and multiple identifies, e.g. culture, language, religion,
gender and our mutual humanity; develop skills for living in a progressively diverse
world and develop attitudes of care and understanding for others and the environment;
respect for diversity and develop values of fairness and social justice and skills to
critically analyze inequalities based on gender, socio-economic status, culture, religion,
age, and other issues.

 Behavioral
Act effectively and responsibly at local, national, and global levels for a more
peaceful and sustainable world.

Environmental Issues
Environmental issues in this modern world have become major issues across the world
today. There has been a very high level of concern on environmental issues worldwide
nowadays because there are some environmental issues such as water pollution, air
pollution, extinct and endangered species, global warming and so on that are directly
impacting the peace of this world. Irresponsible human activities and non-human
activities are the best defined for this matter. However, most of the environmental

problem arises as a result of human activities. These environmental which give a variety
of problems need to be immediately identified and actions need to be taken before it
becomes even worse.

Effects of Global Citizenship Education on the environmental

As we all know, the 3 key conceptual dimensions of Global Citizenship Education will
lead to several things, one thing is to resolve environmental issues. These are the benefits
that I have gained from the 3 key conceptual dimensions in resolving environmental
issues :

Cognitive:Environmental issues are characterized as destructive impacts to earth and its


normal frameworks because of the activities of people. People don't focus on natural
issues. My mindfulness concerning what are the reasons for natural issues, how its
belongings our biological system and us, and how to hold them back from deteriorating.
With this idea, I can acquire data and permits me to ponder environmental issues.
Through the experience of learning, I had the option to reuse and utilize similar strategy
to determine natural issues later on. By the by, it likewise help me as a student to frame a
scope of various ideas, for example, seeing and deciphering data that could help me to
determine the environmental issues in the current circumstance and furthermore in
impending days.

Socio-emotional: When I read or observe the environmental difficulties that have been
occurring in our globe in the twenty-first century, I am deeply dissatisfied as a citizen.
Not only myself, but every human being should be accountable for resolving
environmental concerns and expressing their feelings about them. This socio-emotional
skill motivates me to consider my obligations and communicate my thoughts about the
current era's environment by sharing my knowledge with others and voicing out or
expressing what we should do as human beings to address environmental challenges
without hurting anyone's feelings.

Behavioral:Global Citizenship Educators, we must begin taking actions right away to
protect our world from environmental challenges. Trees are chopped down for paper and
wood goods, cooking fuel, clearing land for expansion, and expanding farming areas, for
example. Not only are the trees on the land left behind gone, but so are the plants,
animals, and insects that formerly thrived in that habitat. After no plant roots to hold it in
place, precious soil washes away with every rain, ending up in the rivers and streams that
people rely on for water. Not only that, but a lack of trees is one of the primary causes of
the current global warming. To avoid this, we may recycle old papers and newspapers at
home, reducing the amount of trees that need to be chopped down.
One of the essential categories of Global Citizenship Education that will aid in taking
immediate action on this type of environmental issue is behaviour skills. As students, we
should take efforts such as holding an environmental awareness camp, sharing messages
on social media about approaches to resolving environmental challenges, and so on.

Conclusion
Basically, Global citizenship schooling isn't just about acquiring information ( intellectual
ability). The socio-emotional perspective is similarly significant in that students ought to
have the option to disguise all-inclusive qualities and to feel in courage with others, rising
above nearby and public limits. In addition, a social capability that empowers students to
assume liability and join community endeavors to take care of issues ought to be featured
also. Worldwide Citizenship Education doesn't manage worldwide issues alone. Students
need to comprehend that our general public is interconnected on many levels. Global
Citizenship Education is a significant subject in our social orders today. We should
execute GCE from grade school to think up a superior age later on. It should assist with
guaranteeing that people in the future are made up of fundamentally disapproved of
residents as well as of edified and independent entertainers, ready to think up quiet, just,
and comprehensive social orders. This instruction has the ability to make a contrast later
