Re: Application for Field Officer Position

I am writing to express my keen interest in the Field Officer position. With a strong background in
agriculture and a deep understanding of climate-resilient farming methods, I am eager to contribute to
TLC's efforts in the implementation of the Market Transitions to Enable New Growth Opportunities
(MTENGO) project. I believe that I am an ideal candidate for this role.

I am a holder of Bachelor of Science in Aquaculture and Fisheries Science, obtained from Lilongwe
University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR) in 2021. Over the past three years, I
have made substantial field work experience working with Kawjo Foundation as a field officer intern
and Malawi Department of Fisheries (Sustainable FisheriesAquaculture Development and Watershed
Management (SFAD-WM) project.) as an intern too. Working at Kawjo Foundation has enriched my
knowledge and practical experience in conducting formal and informal trainings, utilizing
methodologies such as the Farmer Field School, to enhance farmers' productivity, diversification, and
adoption of climate-smart agriculture practices.

Furthermore, I have developed expertise in water management practices and irrigation, this will
enable me to support communities in accessing productive water sources and optimizing resource
efficiency. By training farmers on fish farming business at Kawjo foundation, I also developed skills
in marketing and providing training in financial literacy.
As an effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills, I am confident in my ability to engage
with communities, government officials, partner organizations, and other stakeholders. I am detail-
oriented, possess excellent training delivery capabilities, and can collect and organize data for
monitoring and evaluation purposes. Moreover, I am committed to ensuring the fair representation of
women and youth in all program interventions.
