I.OBJECTIVES

At the end of this lesson the students are expected to:


A. Identify the different types of adverbs;
B. Write sentences with appropriate adverb;
C. Demonstrate teamwork and responsibility towards learning.

B.Motivation

The teacher shows a picture. The students will be asked some questions to
engage them in formulation of the lesson. Varied answers are expected to the
students.
1. What can you say about this picture class?
2. What does the picture symbolize?
3. Are color important to this picture? Why ?
And to start let us define first what is adverb.

D.DISCUSSION

The teacher will discuss the topic which is all about types of adverbs.

E.APPLICATION

The students will be group into three and each group will pick pictures
which they will be describing using adverb. The pictures are common
activities or actions we done everyday.

F.GENERALIZATION

What parts of speech does and adverb modify? How do you define
Adverb from adjective? What is the important of adverbs in sentence construction?

IV.EVALUATION

Directions:

Identify type of adverbs used in the sentence.

1. The family wholeheartedly offered the room.

V.ASSIGNMENT

Direction: make a list of most frequent activities you are doing every weekend
and describe it vividly using adverb.
