Pickleball
1. Forehand (groundstroke)
a. Stand with feet shoulders width apart knees bent.
b. Hold paddle continental grip: grip where paddle is parallel to the way you are facing in your dominant hand.
c. Step across your body with leg opposite of the hand you are holding the paddle with.
d. Swing paddle with face of paddle facing the ball, with movement of the arm ending near the opposite ear, twisting the paddle as you
swing.
e. Use momentum from body and transfer your weight from your stepping foot to the other foot that is brought across your body during
the swing.

2. Backhand
a. Stand with feet shoulders width apart knees bent.
b. Hold paddle continental grip: grip where paddle is parallel to the way you are facing in your dominant hand.
c. Step across your body with the leg that is on the same side as the hand you are holding the paddle with.

across your body.

3. Volley
a. Stand with your feet shoulders width apart, knees bent.
b. Hold paddle continental grip: grip where paddle is parallel to the way you are facing in your dominant hand.
c. Hold the paddle above your waist in front of you to prepare to hit the ball on the left or right side of your body.
d. Forehand: maintain a forehand stance, but push the ball away instead of swinging across your body.
e. Backhand: maintain backhand stance, but instead push the ball away from the body instead of swinging across the body.

4. Serve
