Technical Description:

IFAK software version v5.3 is available to download from the “Software Resources” section of Axcess
Online.

The primary changes in this IFAK V5.3 driver are:

1. Resolution of problems with automatic installation for future computer operating systems.
2. IFAK software must be installed to allow PC based application to communicate with the truck.
3. Updated model codes and affected units.

Please download the latest version of IFAK software from the “Software Resources” section of Axcess
Online. Refer to the Service Bulletins LD038 & LD025 for more details reference IFAK software.
Please contact your IT Department if there are any questions.

IFAK software is supported on the following Microsoft operating systems:
 Windows XP, 32 bit
 Windows Vista, 32 bit
 Windows 7, 32 bit
 Windows 7, 64 bit(1)

Note: Whilst the IFAK driver now supports 64 bit operation on Microsoft Windows 7. Other
Programs may run less effectively, or not at all.

Computer administrator rights will also be required to ensure the successful Uninstall and Install of
software programs and drivers.
