GTD CHECKING FIXTURE REQUIREMENT

FOLLOWING ALL POINTS SHOULD BE INCORPORATED IN 3D MODEL


1 3D model and 2D drawings hard copies should be handed over to QAD department on or after final review.
Pin parking arrangement should be shown in the drawings and ensured that pin parking blocks are located

near pins.
3 Concentricity of round / rectangular check pin locketing diameters or steps should be within 0.02 mm.
4 Reference face(Edge Ref.) to be covered with ms plate.
5 Rubber sheet should be provided in between fixture base and trolley top face.
6 All toggle clamps should be perpendicular to the component surface.
7 Round check pins with knurled head and bush should harden and tempered (55 to 58 RC)
8 Template locking and location pins should be harden with knurled head. (55 to 58 RC)
9 Template identified with nos like T1,T2,T3,etc.
10 Provide lifting arrangement as per customer Stds. (Default Eye Bolt with Extensions)
11 Provide Trolley handle and two break caster wheels at one place.
12 All reference pads fitted with screws and dowels.

ALL FOLLOWING POINTS TO BE COMPLETED BEFORE C.F. OFFER TO QAD. ( GTD)


1 All surfaces should be painted properly with good finish .
2 Oil/scratch/chipped off surfaces are not allowed on CF.
3 No loose parts should be kept in the fixture.
4 All pins should be tied with proper cables and in parking blocks.
5 Carline should be clearly marked on component area of the fixture.
6 Centre line marking should be provided at all small scribed oblong slots and Scribed holes.
7 There should be fool proofing provision provided between trolley and fixture
8 Project no should be painted at suitable place.
9 Name plate as per given Customer STD and Godrej std should be provided on C.F.
10 Yellow color painted on knurled face of datum pins (Two nos).
11 Following inspection reports required before CMM validation.

● Bottom Flatness Report ( Should be with in 0.05/mtr)
b Gauge pins & Bushes
● Material Test report
● Hardness Report
● Dimensional report
c Templates
● Gap Inspection Report with gauge Pin
d Visual Inspection
● visual Inspection as per GTD Checklist & should be filled by supplier.
e CMM Inspection report
● Refer following tolerances if not specified in customer std. for CMM
● Take reference from Tooling Holes & Vertical reference pad.
● CMM Inspection should be carried out as per procedure given by GTD.
● CMM Report should be submitted in GTD format .
