Originally Answered: If the frequency increases, how the current in LCR circuit changes?
In LCR Circuit The resistor is not frequency dependent. It will behave same for AC or DC
Since X[L] and X[C] are varying the current will be varying . The Value of X[C] is negative;
Hence at some specific frequency called Resonance X[L] + X[C] = 0 and and only R
remains and hence the current will be maximum

The current increases till the resonant frequency and after that starts decreasing.

As the formula for frequency in RLC circuit is 1/2*pi*√LC ; both L and C are
frequency dependent component and thus it's current changes when frequency
changes
What will happen to the current in an RLC circuit as its frequency increases and decreases,
respectively? Why is this so?

The reactance of a capacitor or an inductor present in aLCR circuit ,varies with frequency.
If the reactance varies with frequency,then the impedance of the circuitalso changes. If
the impedance of the circuit changes, then the current in the circuit also changes.

Note that in RLC circuit most important thing is resonant frequency if you are able to
understand it then everything is easy .
